Not sure how long these have been up but I just the new pyrex Spalsh tanks over on AltSmoke's website. They are like $44 bucks. They look really really sharp. Has anyone bought one of these yet? I have been pacing back and fourth on whether or not I want to drop 44 bucks on a carto tank but damn the red and black splashed one (No. 12) would look killer on my provari with my red and black zombie skin. I don't have one, but I have seen and held one at the AltSmoke brick & mortar store here in Cincy.

They certainly look like fine tanks. The caps in particular look nice. I can't speak to the quality or durability of the glass. The one tank in the store for display purposes had been dropped by a customer and had a crack in it. This can happen to any glass tank if you aren't careful, so it wouldn't be fair to pass a judgement.

If one of these has a particular color/design that you especially like, yeah, purchase one for sure. But $45 is approaching Phiniac prices. I still think IBTanked offers you more value for your dollar.

My girlfriend bought me the exact one you are talking about, the red and black splash tank. Since it was a gift I can't really express the pain of losing the bucks, but I think it's worth it if I had the money I would buy more, but since I already have one, my money is going to other things. It is really nice. It takes the short boge cartos, which boge single coil low resistance cartos are pretty awesome. I have only dropped it twice, once on carpet, and once on a counter only from like 9 inches, but it has never crackdd, it wasn't thick carpet, wasnt too thin either though. Used all kinds of juices in it including my diy. My only problem now is I want to get a diver rebuildable carto/atty, but it is standard carto size so I will need to find a pyrex tube wide enough for the splash caps but made for a standard size carto instead of the short carto.
