I just got my 3.2ohm map tank today and am ready to fill it with a syringe with strawberry juice. I thought I heard dry burning is recommended. I've never dry burned. Should I do this before I use it for the first time and before I fill it? Just put it on my 5 volt mod and hit the button a couple times and then fill it with juice? Should I dry burn when changing tanks or cleaning? I want to make sure I do this right so it works as well as possible.

Please Help!
Thanks

Hi DTO!

I pop the top delrin cap off of the MAP Tank when I fill mine; I never use a syringe to fill them!

I only dry burn a CE2 after I clean it.

I clean a CE2 by running it under hot water and then I pat the wicks dry with a paper towel.

I use a plastic cup with holes in the bottom of it.

After fully disassembling the MAP Tank, I drop all the pieces of the MAP Tank into the cup.

I then run very hot water through the cup shaking it periodically allowing the water to drain out the bottom of the cup.

Hope this helps!

Edit to add;

A dry burn may have been required on earlier revisions of CE2's, I've only used revision 4 CE2's and up.

I haven't noticed a difference between doing a dry burn before use vs. just using them right out of the box.

To do a dry burn just hit the button enough to get the coil to glow then stop. Repeat this until you get the wick white again.

Thanks!! That helped a lot. I'm going to load it up with juice and try it out right now... I just wanted to make sure I wasn't making a mistake by not doing a dry burn before using it for the first time.
