Having some truoble with the MAP tank, hope someone can help. How far should the cup go into the top stopper. Should it only go up so that the wick remains at the bottom of the cap and stays completely inside the tank, or should it push up to where the wicks go inside the top cap? Hope this question makes since. Seems like if I dont set it fully into the top cap, I get a leaking issue, and if I push it fully into the top cap, I get a wicking ussue. Any advice would be great.

I make sure the fill ring is covering the ceramic cup with the wicks positioned in the openings then I just seat it into the grommet so it fits tight but not covering the wcks. I get no leaking at all.

Assembly from empty MAP Tank
I first position the connector into the bottom grommet then insert that into the tube, then make sure the cup with the fill ring is centered and insert the top grommet till it makes contact.

Hope this helps it seems to be working OK for me

Thanks FM. I think I figured out my leaking problem. The cup on the E2 would slide up and down on the shaft. Replaced the E2 with another one. Put it in just far enough so that the wick remains in the tank where it enters the cup. I think my tube for the drip tip was press too far into the top cap and when I would press in the E2 from the bottom it was forcing the cup down onto the shaft, breaking the seal. Will give it a go and see what happen. Wish me luck!!!!

My drip -tip tube is about 1/4" above grommet I remove that to refill easier to get to the holes on fill ring with it removed

You might be able to reseal the black rubber boot on the air shaft by heating it with a lighter it should be like a heat shrink tubing or at least tighten it so its not leaking from that point

I have been in the mood to try mods lately.... Very interested in trying this MAP tank.... I have eGo batts (from Libert Flights eGo starter kit) and the voltage thing is confusing me....I don't know what I have when it comes to volts. What is the best way to use this setup? Do I need to buy new batts for this thing.... If I were to order everything from clouds of vape what should I order !!!
If I were to start fresh and say I have no batts what should I order to get the best result on this... please help PM me or add to this thread for me please !!

Sorry I meant OHM's not volts !!!

The powers that be don't want me to use the MAP tank. The first one I ordered was cracked, so Bruce promptly sent me a new tank. It's been sitting in town waiting for pickup and I was finally able to pick it up last night. Tonight when I was assembling stuff to put the replacement tank on and put it on my new Megalodon, purchased just for using the MAP, my puppies stole the new replacement tank, and crunched it into pieces. Am I bummed?

So I contacted Bruce about getting (purchasing) a few bare tanks. Bare tanks for the Storm too as I'm sure the puppies will eventually steal them.

So I haven't been able to use the MAP yet but from my experience using the Storm, 2.4 at 3.7v I can say, I have never experienced such retention of flavor on any mod or tube atty mod.

I have all the ohm (innards) replacements for the MAP and Storm and I'm really looking forward to playing with the different ohms at different voltages using my new Megalodon I purchased just for the Storm and MAP. BTW... the Storm can be used on the Roughstack that has a top button; just enough room but not enough room for the MAP tank unless you use a tall extension 510-510.

COV and Bruce are priceless, Alice

I love the MAP Tank! There is, however, one issue I see with it. Even when the silicone cap that covers the ceramic cup is seated into the black washer I find there is slight leakage around it that allows juice to enter the air tube. It seems to me that the diameter of the washer is just a tiny bit too large. Does anyone else have this issue? This is not a major issue and it still hits better than any system I have used but I get a little gurggling if I lay it on its side for a while. A slightly tighter fit would solve the problem.

You might try moving the cup a little higher on the air shaft before replacing the top grommet allowing that to seat the fill ring & cup at the proper position below the grommet. You also could just be getting a drip off the wicks that wind up in the cup and find there way into the air hole.

You need to use E2's with the tube cut to lenght either the XL's or standard, depending on which tank you get.
There are some instructions on the COV sight under the storm tank page , well they are for re-fitting the top grommet but once you hae that off filling is easy.
