The mouth tip knocks off easily. I do it every time I put it in a special outside pocket that holds the mod straight up. I've lost one but was lucky to find the tip the second time it happened. I and others requested that Bruce carry the extra tips, because of this, and he now has them, for sale, on his sight, three pack for $1. When I ordered it would only let me put two packs in the cart so I imagine, at this point there are not a huge amount of them to go around. That will probably change.

Just the slightest bump to the mouth tip knocks it off. (I was lucky to get in and order one very early on so I've been using it for a while.) I've started taking the tip off and into my pocket until I get settled in the car and then I take the whole top off and reinsert the tip into the top and put the top back on. When I stop, at destination, I then take the mouth tip off again and put it back on once when I take it out of my purse to use. (It's good to carry wet wipes for your hands for when you take the top off to reinsert the tip. We always have them in the cars and in my purse anyway.)

The only suggestion I have for keeping it from leaking, when the mouth tip is off, intentionally or not, is to secure it in your purse or pocket so that it stays upright. Without the mouth tip it will leak when turned on its side or upside down.

Have I mentioned lately how much I love my Storm tank????

Hope this helps, Alice

Thank you Alice..I do adore the way it vapes, no burnt taste what so ever. I just wanted to be able to carry it for work and this now seems to be a dying dream. So far it would be safer for me to drip because the mess this creates when not vertical is just insane!

The Storm tank, both of mine, did not come with the silicone rings that are used with the regular style E2 attys. I think the intention is that the mouthpiece is supposed to keep the tank from leaking when it is properly seated but the big problem is keeping the mouthpiece properly seated.

I think the MAP tank might have included the silicone pieces that are used with the E2 attys. I don't use the ceramic cup silicon cover, never have, and only use the center ring. You might not be familiar with these pieces unless you have used a regular E2 atty.

I don't expect any of the top tanks and/or mods (attys) to be able to be handled as roughly as say a regular atty or carto. When I need to throw something in my purse or pocket where it will be jostled around or even end up upside down I just don't use the top tank attys.

To get a little off subject here. I just started using the T-tank attys on my eGo batteries. I got the first one from another vendor as Bruce didn't have them in yet but I made an order for myself, parts, and a order of full kit for a gift for a friend. BTW... Bruce's price for the kit is incredibly low compared to others, if you can find them at all!!!! That system will give you similar results to the Storm and MAP tanks and be robust enough to jostle around in a purse or pocket without leaking. It gives amazing amounts of vapor and flavor, and I am a vapor/flavor/medium TH freako.

I'm not advocating giving up on the tank mods at all. I just don't see them as being good for carrying around all over the place unless special care is taken to keep them from leaking out the top. That said, The MAP tank would be less likely to leak from top than the Storm, when its mouthpiece is off.

If you don't have any eGo batteries you might be able to pick some up for a good price on the For Sale section of ECF.

You guys rock! MWA I did pm u my addy..is it just me, or does it seem like vapers just seem to be the most awesomest people on the planet?

I think most of the vapers who hang out on ECF are awesome people. Most of us are so thrilled to have finally kicked the cancer sticks and want others to experience the many joys of not smoking without the many painful issues that arise trying and trying and trying to kick the smoking, nicotine, other poisons, habits, and addictions.

One to the major things I see about ex-smokers who vape is that they/we usually don't develop the righteous attitudes that many non smokers, who don't vape, have.

It is so gratifying to see the interest smokers have about vaping and the look on their faces when they realize there is a painless way to kick the analog habit.

i have some of the same questions, no offense but asked on the forum rather than PM may help others...

like me haha

(ETA..my questions for the storm clear as the previous posters mention they have storms, sorry to confuse as i see title now)

ok so, instructions say to push the black O ring in, but how far? far enough so it will cover the ceramic? otherwise i don't see how the juice wouldn't get into the air tube.
pics on the site show it well above the air intake ?

so IF i did it right, the clear tube is somewhat over the tip a bit? (wish i had my camera)

Fill your Storm Clear with juice to just below the ceramic cup and put the tip through the black ring, start it into the tube, attach the tip to the CE2 and work the rubber ring in.

If you do it in the order, it will fit snug. If you don't do it in this order, the black ring will go too far down over the cup.

"too far down over the cup" ..what? over the cup? so confused by that, if it means the ceramic, again if it's not over it, how does the juice not go into the air tube? i did that first, and first small tip sideways it leaked out the bottom and the drip tip because juice was in the air tube.

i have 3.0 and it's not vaping on my 3.7V with or without a cap, and i can't find my adapter for my ego :p so not in a hurry as i can't use it yet :(

Ok, let me see if I can answer your questions. Put the black tip into the black washer, the tip should stick out the end just slightly. Now, insert it into the tube and as you do you'll see the bottom of the mouthpiece go over the ceramic cup. Continue working the washer piece into tube until it level with the top of the tube. The mouth piece going over the cup is what keeps the juice out. Hope this helps.

ok yeah i figured that out the hard way haha! i wasn't sure so i didn't cover the ceramic and tipped it a little..ya..juice comes out lol!

and, want to know why the 3.0 hardly vaped? it's a kr808...DUH! i was so happy to see 'add to cart' finally that i did just that without realizing, i thought it was a 901 end :p total dork moment.

so good thing i ordered 2.8 e2 and switched it out, now other than feeling i need a tad more power it works awesome! and no more burny taste or dripping yay. i'll just wait for more e2's in the meantime.

~kudos to you and Bruce for awesome customer service and products
