What a load, if he is behind, he should close up again to catch up. It's greedy trading sales at the cost of customer service. It's also ridiculous to blame the customers. 3 weeks ago Ian posted a apology, saying they would "train more employees" and that things would get back to normal soon. He also extended his valentines day sale in the same post, you know, for the customers that had to deal with the slow service, lol.

the thing is i knew he was backlogged thats fine. so he tells me he overlooked the order that was understandable also. people overlook stuff but if he just shipped it i would have been fine with that also just dont be promiseing stuff that you aint gonna do. but when he say hes gonna ship xpress and dont do it, then messed up the order then messed up the second part of the order that he had to reship and not throw in the $10 worth of juice he also promised for the mistake, im sorry but you dont be tell customers stuff then dont do as you say thats just bad for business. the guy is in over hes head and need to get hes chit together, this is a business not someone you are buying off some corner downtown. seams to me its all about the money, just tell the customer what thay want to hear, fill them full of bull. i have also noticed that the after eight i bought in christmas was full of flavor but the last order taste like vaping plain liquid dont know whats going on because he got this juice come in already mixed. its either not shakeing the bottle or diluting the stuff. im sorry but this business is getting more and more sketchy. its a shame because it was one of if not the best vendor in canada. not trying to bash the company but this is how it is, some people may have not had the same experances but this is how it is with me

If he is this far behind he should definitely shut down until he gets caught up. There is no excuse for taking weeks to deliver a couple bottles of juice only to have the orders messed up. Everyone has personal issues and we all get busy at times, but when you are running a business and it involves $$$$ you need to have your .... in order at all times. At the very least his site should say "I'M HAVING MASSIVE ISSUES RIGHT NOW, DON'T EXPECT ANYTHING ANYTIME SOON" ..... simple

I have an order in but haven't even tried his juices yet, but judging by the popularity of them, and considering the issues he's having, I offered to discuss buying his business from him. No reply to my email....yet!

Lmao what an obsessed vaping junkie I have become. As if experimenting with juices and equipment aren't enough. Now I want my own vaping biz! Somebody shoot me!!!

It is funny how quick customer loyalty wanes in the advent of personal circumstances. The only problem with Ian is that he ran his sales for far too long trying to accommodate for life circumstances. During this time frame everyone took advantage of the situation without any second thought, further exacerbating the problem.

Folks were eager participants in the current dilemma but have demonstrated no remorse for their own personal actions.

In closing for the mob that has gathered with pitch forks or yet willing to toss him under the bus, perhaps need to view their own reflection prior to doing so. Ian got inundated with your orders and hence some of the problem. Folks knew of the back log yet ordered again to take advantage of sale prices. Totally despicable IMHO, vultures at a feeding frenzy. Sad, :(

Sorry, but I have to respectfully disagree to a point. I don't think most people are taking a vicarious and hypocritical pleasure out of MLV's problems. They're genuinely and legitimately disappointed. Who knows, perhaps they're having some other difficult circumstances that we don't/shouldn't know about.....but otherwise, business is business. People just want to get what they pay for. If they're going to extend a sale, well sure, people are going to take advantage of it. Now, to be fair....I made a recent order from them without any problems, but I didn't order any juice. I feel really bad for Ian and his wife....and I'm sure they're going through hell right now, but I don't know why they didn't plan things out better. People love MLV and I think they really want them to pull through this.

Exactly and he should not have done that. So feel free to cast the first stone ;)

True to a point but having been here for a while and, how many times have I taken a sabbatical from a sub that thrives on drama. Nutella anyone?

ETA: Ian responded to public pressure, not the smartest decision he might have made but a decision nonetheless!

There is no excuse for this. It's a business or it's supposed to be. It not like we're doing him a favour. I understand that he is very busy blaw, blaw, blaw, but MLV had the time to take my money. However, I have no idea if my order has been filed, or shipped. I know nothing about it except that I paid for it.

A simple email saying something, anything in that regard would do wonders. How about, "We have received your payment and are presently experiencing a higher than normal volume of orders. Please be patient as your order will be filled ASAP. We thank you for your business".

That simple statement would make the world of difference and would take less time than posting this, but it didn't happen. That's what most if not all of us are upset about.

I've been reluctant to refer people to MLV even though he's one of the only vendors in Canada to offer Virginia e-juice (what a few of my colleagues are hooked on) but with all these issues I would hate for them to have a negative experience early on in their vaping "career".

My issues with MLV is that they began experiencing issues, refused to close down shop despite being several orders behind, then they finally closed down to catch up on the backlog, then they re-open and profusely apologize assuring that they're back on top of things yet it seems to be just as bad as before they closed down.

I understand that we're a small community and we should be understanding and looking out for one another but if you're going to be accepting orders and taking people's money you better deliver. If for whatever reason you can't then close up shop until you are truly back on top of everything.

Sorry to hear about their troubles. That said, I would still have to agree with those that have pointed out that you can't continue to take peoples money when you know you are having trouble delivering ... e-liquid is a consumable ... if its good people will come back even if they go elsewhere in the interim ... put a bad taste in their mouth (no pun intended) and they just don't come back at all.

In case anyone missed it Ian put up an update in the Canadian Vendors section....... http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/canada-suppliers/279018-mlv-update.html

Ok so MLV is now stateing he has some issues legal and otherwise and may have to temporarily close the site. Would the proper thing not to be to close the site until everything is worked out and he is able to supply in a timely fashion. Im not sure about others but name and reputation mean a lot to most people and right now hes really not doing himself any favors.
