I didn't really see any benefit from it. I was probably doing something wrong but depending on the size of the chunk of foam, I'd either end up flooding the atty or it'd behave like a standard polyfill cart.
I may give it another go at some point. Right now I'm just using a stock cart and topping off.
I got mine at the local Petco in the aquarium filter aisle.
UD, it definitely wicks better, and no "burnt" taste like poly gives off, when you've run dry. There are a ton of posts on using it in various ways over in the Modding -> Carts area. I'd give it a 2nd shot.
I never let a polyfill cart get close to empty. The only way I get any satisfaction from vaping is with a freshly topped off cart and a rested / cool atty.
I'll hunt down some straws and give the dart a go. Some day I'll order a juice box and be done with this cart filling nonsense.

I got it at PetSmart and it has been the silver bullet of cart fillers for me. I, too, vape the cart dry although the foam is still moist when I'm done.
