Hello guys,

I am in search for a leak proof rda (I have a Derringer, flavor is great, but the leaking is awful.) Since I can't really get my hand on the authentic Marquis ($$ + availability) I am thinking of getting a clone from EHPro. Are they any good? Seem like they have a clone Veritas too, if their quality is ok, I may get that as well.

Anyway, if there's a leak proof rda with flavor compare to the Derringer, please let me know.

Thank you so much in advance,

No RDA is "leak-proof"... only varying degrees of leak resistance. The Marquis, Veritas, K.loud, Buhawi, Nomad, Omerta, SV, Cascata and Hobo... to name but a few, are all highly leak resistant.

The Nomad may be the most leak-resistant, in that the only way one could get a leak would be to substantially overfill the juice well, to the point the juice reached the center post air ports.

The Marquis, like the Veritas it spawned from, can still leak if turned upside down (as will the Nomad)... but like the Veritas, can be laid on it's side if the AFC inlet(s) face up.

If your Derringer is leaking, you're overfilling it or you've got some bad o-rings, plain and simple. Or you're pulling the whole top cap off too much. What brand is yours? I have a $12 Tobeco and it only leaks if I put more than like 15 drops in it (I run a single coil in mine and the well is full of wick)

Monotremata,

I don't fill up the well with wick, since I run single coil, I put cotton on the side of the coil only. I will try fill up the entire well with wick.

As for pull off the cap, if not how do you refill? Just remove the drip tip and refill? Also, I only put in 10-12 drops per refill.

Thanks guys

That's pretty much how I do it, if the drip tip is "normal" ID. If it's a big bore... well, you don't need to take anything off if you can see the coil(s) through the tip.

EHPro makes a fairly decent product. Did not know they made clones! I bought their Pontus V1.5 Dripping Tank Atomizer, and after figuring out a few of it's quirks, its actually a really nice Tank, plus I get to drip on it via the Tank (and it works really really well!), build my own coils and wick easily, much like you would an RDA. It's pretty cool, if I do say so myself! Not the BEST clouds, it's a little too restricted airflow for my taste, but really nice flavor. I like it!

My experience with EHPro is its a pig in a poke....

I ordered a no logo TOBH style and a Stillaire clone , love the tobh, it is really nicely made/heavy...the Stillaire was a peice of crap right outta the box.
I had a spinning neg post on first build, finish was crappy, o-rings were sooo tight it was impossible to adjust air-flow.

I actually will be getting my second tobh style one in thur. vape mail. I am very happy with that clone:)
:toast:
No idea about about the one you seek....they may make an amazing one.. They may make a crappy one....thats just my experience :2c:

I only pull the whole top off once in awhile, and I have to have a paper towel to wipe the AFC off when I do (top cap condensation gets everywhere). I just pull the drip tip out and drop it in there. 12 drops every time is good for 6 or 7 nice fat vapes.. That's the catch to a dripper, you gotta constantly re-drip. ;)
