I know married batteries are important in dual battery mech mod. Does the same rule apply to dual or triple battery regulated mods?

definitely that way all the batteries are under the same stress scenarios and will perform level with each other so one battery doesn't take all the stress before the next.

One more question. Do the batteries have to be married to the mod as well or can I use the couple in other dual or triple battery mods?

Yes you can use it on other mods that require a married set.
