Marshal Mod Button Problems

I got bilked on a Marshal mod and the button only fires sometimes. I believe I could fix it IF I can get it open without destroying it. Does anyone have any experience taking these apart? Someone suggested I unscrew the button but it doesn't seem to move at all when I try.
