So i've been wondering if we may ever possibly see a mass produced hybrid. Over the summer I discovered genesis atomizers and really wanted to try one but realized that there was no way I was going to pay triple digits just to try an atomizer out even though I was dying to try it out. Fast forward some odd months later and there's a mass produced genesis that I paid $25 for. Now there are hybrids but they too are very expensive. It would be nice if there was a mass produced hybrid that those of us that don't want to pay $300 just to own one can try out. What are your thoughts? Anybody think this is a possibility? It would sure be nice to be able to buy an $80-100 hybrid that actually works properly!

thats the thing, wen its mass produced the chance of it not working properly is high. i also agree that quality hybrids are too expensive. what we really need is someone to build a quality hybrid and not be greedy. anything more then 100 is ridiculous

Seems to me that if I was going to build hybrid's for others in this sue happy world that we live in, I would want to be well compensated for my efforts. There is a lot more to consider than just production costs. The smaller the production run ... the larger those other consideration become per unit.

the problem with mass produced is the fit and finish, surely there would be a percentage that died, didnt work correctly or leaked and such things. as with all these things, (like triple digit geni's) your paying for the attention to detail and the craftsmanship, while don't doubt they are making money never forget they are earning it with all the work and hours that goes into hand producing a superior product.
i started with a cheapo genni, and like the idea so much I got a cobra (hand made, surgical grade titanium) and when staring at it every line is perfect, every edge is laser straight. no mass produced item could ever match this. im so impressed i want a titanium bliSS now.

there is a very valid reason for these things to always be out of stock.

and no matter what if you just bite the bullet with one of these items and dont like it, list it in the classifieds here and it will be gone within hours, for almost if not exactly what you paid for it.

I have no interest in the AGA. Thank you though, I know you're trying to help. After owning a DID clone, a genuine DID and a 3mL Cobra, I have to say that the vape quality is still good in the DID clone, even though it's obviously not made of the best materials or the prettiest. The DID clone worked great though and got me to step into the world of genesis when I never would have before that. I still think that somebody out there could make hybrids on a greater scale for a decent price, and all of you and I know that we would gobble them up! I wouldn't expect it to be iHybrid or Katana level craftmenship, but if a genesis (that actually works well!) can be found for less than $20 these days, surely a hybrid could be produced for a decent price!

Edit: And I would love an iHybrid especially, but right now it's just not something I can afford to buy. If a hybrid was made with a similar value in comparison to a high level genesis, I would snatch one up! I don't NEED a hybrid, it's just something i'd love to have, and i'm surely not going to drop $225+ just to own one, unless I were to trade some of my gear for one, or sell some of it and buy one with the profits.

I passed on the V1 and V2 models, but the V3 NGP was entirely redesigned- and I don't know of any plastic parts besides the plexiglass tank, which it comes with two spares of. And, it still comes with an LED...I have always wanted a hybrid with an LED... :D

Out of all of the stuff I'm waiting on, this mod is the one I'm most excited about.

    Check it out:

Actually I plan on buying another DID clone, I wish I still had mine. I found the metal tank it came with earlier today (I made a new one out of a 12mL syringe before they made clear tanks for them) and the finish matches my GGTB PERFECTLY and they work quite well IMO. For $17 it's not a big deal, ya know? I love vaping in 2012 into 13. Goodbye blue foam and tea bags, hello <$20 genesis'! :D

Yeah, and i've been wanting a slide ring NGP for a while now. I know it has plastic parts, so maybe that's why they are sold for so cheap? I think the NGP in itself is the perfect example of why a cheaper hybrid could be mass produced, or at least more readily available in the US! :D
I paid $98 shipped from croatia almost 3 yrs. ago for the original hybrids(pictured below). you should be able to get almost the same thing for cheaper now days.

Oh wow I had no idea about the V3, that is freakin sweet! Is it still $95 or has the price gone up? I registered on vaporwall and i'm waiting for my account to be approved, how long is the wait on one of those bad boys?

It's $105 including shipping and paypal fees. Vaporwall can take a long time to get into, so here's the signup and the list.

From what the signup says for the NGP, you don't have to pay upfront, it says they send you the payment request when it's finished. Does that mean you confirm it then and THEN it sends payment, or it will just automatically send payment then? I could see this being a problem if you didn't have the money in your account at the time.
