Hi guys,

Got my beautiful Maximizers today but they're not firing or giving me tons of delicious vapor. They are as gorgeous as I expected them to be though.

I filled the stainless up with my favorite juice and have it standing on my desk. I can see the juice level so knowing how much I had in was easy.

The connection is inset. I don't know why because these are listed as 510's. I put together two 510 to 510 connectors but it didn't fire. I next tried a 510 battery extender...still no luck. I tried using one 510 to 510 connector...no worky. And, I've tried this on my Silver Bullet, my JamBox and my Darwin...no worky.

Before wasting more juice (cuz it holds a lotta juice) I tried firing the black one...it's not working either. Either I'm doing something wrong, these don't work on 510 connectors or they're duds. And, GotVapes doesn't sell duds so I'm finding that hard to believe.

What should I try next?

YIPEE!!! Home at last
ok first of all let me say wouldn't it have been funny if all the atheists disappeared yesterday....just sayin'. Now I have a question or two. Can you use cinnamon type juices in this maximizer thingy and will it work on my epower as that is my primary set up. I use the 510 auto stick styles but this would just look ridiculous on there so I would only be using ti on my epower.

stick a pin down the cup and push down on it to expose the pin on the connector end.

your not making contact, i have never experienced a doa ce2 in 9 months so im thinking somewhere your not making contact.

Chris, just stuck a long needle into the cup and..don't know what I'm aiming for. It's hard to get it past the coil so I put it through one of the fill holes and try and angle toward where I think the center and the pin is...not finding anything.

Can you be more explicit or, perhaps, show on a video?

Okay, I think I fumbled and found the center and pressed down...still nothin'. And, what's with this inset connector - there was no option for adapters so I had no warning there'd be a need.

Edit to add: I've adjusted my adapters, the bottom of the carto and poked down into the carto trying to find the place to push the pin into action and tried it with a single and a couple adapters. Is this made for the eGo? I don't have, nor will I ever own anything remotely eGo-like so...maybe this doesn't work with a standard 510 connector?

i think he ment push the whole insides down while holding the base. you could use an ink pen or pencil for this. I do not have one of these but if it is constructed like a ce2 then pushing down on the ceramic cup will push the down tube and the center connector out through the bottom. if you only move it a little it will make the center connector stick out more. hope this helps :vapor:

SUCCESS!

The black one is working... I may have fiddled with the stainless one too much for it to be revived but...we have a lit coil. I'm using a 510 battery extender on my Silver Bullet if anybody's curious about the setup, and the pin is down just a teeny bit. I didn't have to fiddle with it - just pressing the mouthpiece into place and having to wiggle it around probably helped.

Update

First, thanks Dano and Bad for responding to me.

I've had a chance to use and re-use the black Maximizer and experienced no leaking whatsoever. Once I got an eGo-510 adapter and figured out how to get that big cap out for cleaning I've been treating it like the giant, sturdy ceramic cartomizer it is. Lower ohms work best for providing warm vapor and great flavor. These are cool.
