Little backstory here....I use an iTaste MVP and have been solely using ProTanks for about two months which have been great but are beginning to grate on me. I notice that when I put in a new coil head, the first 5 minutes of vaping are full-bodied and the flavor is fantastic. Shortly, thereafter, it seems like most juices have a muted flavor and the draw becomes 'harder' so to speak. The vapor is still there but there's just not close to enough flavor explosion as there is for the first few vapes on a new head.

I was originally dead set on clearomizers but I am willing to expand to other things. I don't have time to learn to deal with mechs, possible exploding batteries, or other advanced techniques. Is there anything else out there that is as user-friendly as a ProTank but delivers a better experience? I've tried to search other posts but haven't found one asking specifically what I'm looking for.

Any recommendations greatly appreciated.

You don't have to use a rebuildable atty that requires building your own coils. Just buy a drip atomizer. Not always a convenient way to vape, but you don't have a silica wick that may mute or alter the flavor of your juice. The juice is driped directly on the atty - nothing but pure flavor. The inconvenient factor is an atomizer can only handle a few drops of juice at a time.

Enter the bottom feeder box mod. Uses a drip atomizer, but it has an in-the-mod tank that you manually feed juice to the atty as you need it. The technique is called "squonking". I've been using my first bottom feeder for about a month now. It's almost replaced my Provari's. 18650 battery lasts me nearly 2 days; 9 ml removeable tank lasts me 3 days between refills. Lightweight, pocketable, dependable, and consistant. I thought that I was dependent on variable voltage, but I've not missed it with the VMod-XL.

That looks quite interesting and I've seen that around a few times. The thing that gets me is the feeder bottle is plastic. I'm assuming juices that have the stipulation of only being used in pyrex or steel tanks will eat through it?

The little bottles in the bottom feeders are made of the same material as the bottles the juices come in from the vendors. It doesn't react when exposed to flavors like polycarbonate and acrylic do.

Another option you might look into are carto tanks. They aren't as much hassle as people imagine they are. It takes a bit of practice to learn how to fill a carto, but not that much. When you have it down, you put one in a tank and just keep filling it with liquid until the carto is dead - much like you would with a Protank. I've been using Protanks, because they are super easy, but for me the flavor is much better with a carto tank. Valley View Vapes has inexpensive polypropylene tanks, which also don't react to juices. They may not be much to look at, but they are workhorses and the price is good. They also have a fill screw and bounce if dropped.
