Thanks, Amraann! I kinda like 'em. :) It sounds like you had a great day! YAY for Rio not having a potty accident!! We crate trained Homer but now we leave him out when we go places. He was really good about not chewing stuff up when he was little, but he really likes his crate so it worked out for us. He puts himself in it when he's tired sometimes. :)

Awww that is cute! I did not crate train Rio. I thought about it and even had a crate for him... What happened was that we had company. Our company had been planning to come visit but it was not suppose to conflict with the day that Rio was to be brought to us. I really wanted a few days for him to adapt with just us.
But true to form they chose to be here the day before we got Rio and stay until the day after..
We were also pet sitting our son's very hyper, not well trained Golden retriever.
She was not bad .. just hyper and absolutely chewed up everything!! Luckily she was crate trained!

Soo after a very long day Rio is delivered to us.. The house was a zoo!!!! Finaly after cooking a large meal and our neighbors also zoining us ... everyone went to bed. Rae (the golden was in her crate, Hookie was on his bed.

I needed a little quiet time on my porch with just me and baby Rio. I was exhuasted!! Once I was ready for bed I put Rio in his crate with a blanky. His crate was directly next to Hookie's bed I thought that would help.
Rae's crate was all the way across the room and covered and the line of site was bllocked by a couch.
Poor little Rio started crying and then Rae began barking and I knew this was going to wake the entre house and I could not bare to hear him cry or Rae upset either.
It was his first night away from his litter mates and I could just not do it. So he slept on my bed.

I let him sleep in our room the two following nights until rae was picked up by her owner. (I did not think it would be fair for her to hear him lose while she was in a crate)
After that I laid out some puppy pads at night for him and he slept next to Hookie.
Now he sleeps on one couch and Hookie sleeps on the other. Our cat Boopy still sleeps in our bed LOLOL

Happy Time Change, Screw My Schedule Up Day!
My favorite night of the year!!! Except now I will spend the next 4 months stressing out about my least favorite night of the year; the night I have to give back my extra hour. I wonder which candidate is pro getting rid of daylight savings time forever. Ima vote for that one. :D

Oh my gosh, you poor thing! What a chaotic homecoming for your new baby. :( Homer likes to sleep on the couch, too. Well actually when he hears me getting up to do my bedtime routine he goes in and steals my pillow, lol. I have to shoo him off my side of the bed every night, but he doesn't seem to mind. He just goes to the couch! I guess he feels like he has to warm up my spot for me. :) In the morning, though, he will come up on the bed and snuggle with me. It's my favorite thing! He is such a great snuggler. :)

That is precious!!
My son brought me home a bike today!
He was selling one of his hand guns on a group that he belongs to that buy sell trade barter..

The guy wanted to barter 50 for each bike off of my sons asking price. Seriously the bikes are 300$ bikes in perfect condition. (no they are not stolen LOLOL) The guy and his wife are older and lived in a place that clearly indicated they did not need to steal bikes.
My last bike was the victim of a hurricane. Tree crushed the shed it was in. sense then we have not really lived in a place that I would bike ride. Here is a perfect place to bike ride.

Homer...come stay with Auntie Jo...I need a dry cuddler!!!
He said okay! If I send him out the door he should be there in a couple of hours. I swear he is part cheetah. I've never had a dog that runs as fast as he does! I love how he has his paws curled up like Tangelo does with his, and his ear all flipped up on his head. He's such a Labradork. :D
