Hubby would love that suggestion, too. Last time he went to Mexico when he was young, their truck was stolen from in front of their hotel place. Then their locker at the border for the train/bus thingy had their stuff stolen out of it. Then they went home to find out that their house had been robbed while they were gone. He doesn't have fond memories, lol.
OMG that sounds like a plot for a B movie!! I can't even imagine! :(

Time to fix that!!
We had a big protest in Seattle tonight. Ended in gun violence, unfortunately. I'm still not sure if the shooting was connected to the demonstration or not, but OMGWTF. When I saw that people were assembling at around 4:30 today I had a bad feeling. Our last protest was peaceful so it was time for one to go bad. Not sure why people are protesting today, though. It's not going to change anything. We just need to figure out how to survive the next 4 years!

Read a report it wasn't related, but everyone is so on edge and upset...so who really knows.

I read that, too. Huffington Post says it wasn't, but I just missed the local news report on it when I got done with something I was watching on DVR. We'll know more tomorrow, I'm sure. Seems kinda odd that a mass shooting happened at a peaceful political demonstration and it wasn't related, though...

I've only seen 3 of those in our price range. One is already gone. One needed too much work to be livable. The other isn't available yet.

Still think the numbers the bank is trying to feed me are b.s. They are saying we need at least $8,000-10,000 for the down payment, when the houses I was looking out would only need $3,000-5,000 to hit 20%. Also said that insurance fees are hundreds per month, even though I already checked into prices for that. They didn't do any credit or income checks. Just told us we needed way more money.
Sounds screwy. If they didn't do any checks they're simply not interested in you. I think the problem is the "fixer upper" price range you're looking at. It's a low profit high risk investment for them. A preapproval should have should have nothing to do with how much you want to borrow. They check your credit and income and decide how much they are willing to risk on YOU. With that said, even if you did get preapproval for say 100,000 but you only want to spend 40-50,000 you could have a very hard time getting final approval depending on the property you choose.
Honestly, these folks aren't there to 'help' anyone they're there to make money off you. 'Frugal' folks aren't very attractive to them.
This is why it can be so much easier to get trapped into a mortgage you can't possibly afford on a new home than it is to get the home you actually want.

It's all so stupid. A lot of the places we look at around the price range are nice and usually have a lot of updated stuff. Mind you I live next to a lot of retirement communities so it makes housing cheaper. We went through hubby's bank that he has been with for over 10 years. They didn't even have a lender in office and had to have one call us. We went in 2 weeks ago and it took until last night to actually talk to anyone. Then this is all we get. Any time we talk to someone though, all they want to know is if we have a huge down payment and have a house picked out. Can't look at houses because half of the places require proof of pre-approval. I'm never going to be a real adult. Too complicated.

I was thinking about sticking it on the i3, cause I like 1.5-1.8 on the cricket and the coil is 1.2, but if the ramp up time is slow, then it might be ok on the cricket.
Ha! That's quite the conundrum, lol! It really does look like it will be an awesome vape, but I bet ramp up time is horrible. That's one thick coil!

If I had it to do over again I'd just buy a 20 acre lot in the desert ($168mo)and park an old RV on it!

I don't think it does, but I could be wrong. I seem to remember someone asking that in the Cubis thread and being told that they don't work together. Hopefully I'm wrong about that, though.

I just realized I never sent this message, lol! I wrote it hours ago. :D
Well sighing... I 'thought' my Cubis tank was supposed to come with an RBA Head included but it ain't there so kinda a moot point. I swear the website said it would have on.... that's the only reason I chose it. Oh well I can prolly rebuild the factory coils.

This is the most divided election cycle we have ever had.....this was bound to happen regardless of who won. (But remember, only Trump supporters are violent  )

Don't go through the bank, go through a licensed realtor...they make their money through commission, so are generally more driven to get things done, and can show you homes before approval
