He started using a homemade rub on them this year before grilling. We love the baby back ribs so that's what he uses, and he uses Sweet Baby Ray's on them for sauce. I have been researching sauce recipes because I am convinced it's the sauce that makes the ribs but so far Sweet Baby Ray's tastes the best. I still think I will be able to develop my own sauce recipe, though!

He doesn't pre-cook them at all. He just knows when the coals are perfect (charcoal on a Webber Kettle grill) and they turn out so tender and smoky. Gaaah, now I'm hungry for ribs!!
