Neat! You are so artistic. I would make a hot mess with an engraver, lol.So other than being just super handy, one of the main reasons I wanted a dremel was to learn how to do some simple glass engraving. I ordered some bits online for that, but I figured I'd just give it a shot with one of bits that came in the kit. It's not ideal but it worked. For my first time and not really knowing what I am doing, this didn't turn out half bad.Excited to get the right bits in the mail and go buy some glass at the dollar store to practice on. I can see this turning into a really interesting hobby.

We have snow, too! It's sloppy now, but the yard is still completely covered and the roads are really slushy. I'm worried about hubby because he is in Tacoma and they are hours behind us with this snow. Our snow started at about this time yesterday and traveled up north so it snowed all night for them. I'm watching the memorial service for the Tacoma police officer who was shot and killed last week when he answered a domestic violence call. His daughter just spoke and I'm losing it. He was the 13th officer killed in the line of duty this month in the US. The man that shot and killed him ended up holing up in his apartment and then escaping before capture. It was an hours-long standoff. It's all just so sad.
Two young cops got killed in GA this week, I knew the parents of one of the kids. Just sucks that two others had to die along with him.
Ugh, that breaks my heart!!! I hate it when the cowards that pull this crap kill themselves before they can be brought to justice. I'm so sorry for your loss.

High of 71 with a low of 50 tonight.
I live in Florida and hate it right now!! We have a freeze warning for my part of Florida. My son and I spent the afternoon covering the screens on the screen porch with plastic.
It made the porch tolerable (along with a couple of heaters) I have not removed my layers but my hands are not icey cold like they were earlier.
Hubby bought me a ceramic coil oscolating heater... Way better than flowers for this time of year!! Going to catch up on the rest of the thread now

It's chilly here, too! It's so weird how much colder 39 degrees is now than it was when it was 39 degrees a few days ago before the snow. BRRRR!!!
