This is the guy that complain that Jim didn't promote him to assistant manager even though this guy had to go in and do the computer modules to be approved and never did. The same one who every year when he asks Jim about the schedule and Jim says I'm taking this day off because it's my birthday, Jims birthday, we have reservations for our anniversary, I'm flying in and need a ride home from the airport...you get the idea...… And schedules him to work and he calls in and makes him work. I hate him...I really do...and Jim is so much nicer than me because he even gives him an entire month off during Ramadan so that he can fast

Bull Pucky !
My sister is Muslim - married a guy from Pakistan...
They all get up way before sunrise and eat a huge feast (and are supposed to go on the rest of the day with normal activities - unless they are extremely devout and then the days are to be spent in prayer)
Dinner is another huge feast at sunset.

They are permitted to drink and have juices.

Wow. I've done liquid diets twice while holding down a full time day job. Yep, it sucks, but you just do it. What a wuss.

HI Fam!!! Merry Christmas!!!!

It is 77 here and I am thrilled! Cooladdict .. I am sorry that you are not feeling well.

Red that is soo not cool about your hubs employee. That dude needs to be fired. Just seems like he is totally taking advantage and not appreciating the fact that he has a job. Seriously, a month off for fasting? He can't work while he fasts? Does he really not eat for a month? (I am clueless about that religion)
Dinner here will be at 8. (we typically eat late) I became to lazy to make cheescake yesterday so I just finished cooking it. LOL And red if thoe furbabies of yours were any cuter I would cry! Please give them a big huge hug from me!

Rio has an owie :( Yesterday while playing fetch with his ball he stepped on a stick. He went to get his ball then kind of yelped and layed down and whined.. As I was running over to him it looked like he pulled a stick from his paw. He stopped whining and before I even got to him was back up with his ball but then was limping, (his front left paw)
I get him inside and settled and check his paw and leg ... no blood or cut or any splinter that I can feel.
He is not whining at all and is still acting like a happy puppy.. Yet, he is limping. I have checked his paw several times, so did my son. We sprayed his paw with peroxide just in case we missed a cut.. saw no foaming.. (it is really hard to see things on a solid black paw with black fur!) Then today my son soaked his paw in some warm water to help draw out anything that may be in there.
I would think that if something was in there (like a thorn) that he would cry or flinch when I was rubbing my fingers around and in between the pads of his paw?
It does look slightly swollen. Of course this has to happen when the vet is closed! It does not seem severe enough to call the emergency vet though.

Well .. anyways... sorry for the long post!! Hugs and Merry Christmas to you all!!
Oh no! Poor Rio! Suzie broke a toe when she was running in the woods with my husband when she was a pup. We did the same thing, checking for blood and such but didn't realize it was her toe until months later when I went to cut her toenail and I noticed that one toe was not as straight as the others. I felt so bad! She never complained about it after that first initial yelp and a day or 2 of limping. I wish I had known earlier so we could get it set but by that time it was healed up all wrong. :( I hope whatever it is with Rio is just a sprain or something easy. It really sucks that they can't tell us what hurts!! :(

Made deviled eggs...have turkey drumsticks roasting and doing some taters and stuffing
Om nom nommmm. That sounds so good! I had a bowl of homemade split pea soup earlier and then a piece of the carrot cake my mom makes (she makes us each a personal one in a loaf pan every year) and I made myself sick. Sheesh. Just had to eat one of the hard boiled eggs that was supposed to get deviled and a spoonful of peanut butter to load protein. You think I could take a tiny break from my bariatric diet on a sick day but nope! Proper nutrition every day, even when I don't feel like cooking, lol! :) I feel better now. The ridculous sweating and the bright spots in my line of vision have disappeared, and now I think I need a nap. Just turned on Batman VS Superman, which I will once again start but not finish. One of these days I will be able to watch it all the way through. I think. :D

Right! We had a temporary transcriptionist at the hospital once. He was actually a doctor but was from Pakistan and was waiting on his work visa before he could practice doctoring and he was just there to give him some kind of income while he waited. He was with us during Ramaden and worked swing shift and he explained it all to us. He did just fine waiting until sundown to eat! My son's sister by his dad and his first wife is also Muslim and they do the same thing. They work during Ramaden and make sure they have enough nutrition to make it through the day.

I don't eat until later, either. Breakfast has never been my thing, unless I get it for dinner, lol!

I really didn't need pie....but it was there...so I had some!

Easy pie
1 8oz cream cheese
1 small cool whip
4 tbsps sugar

Mix sugar and softened cream cheese until kinda smooth, add cool whip and put that :censored: in an Oreo pie crust! Bam! Easy Pie :D
