Tommy only gets treats from Ninja, he will sit beside him, cause he knows what a good boy does to get a treat. He loves sausages. He tosses them in the air a couple times, like a cat would a mouse, then he eats it.
Lol When Zeus gets treats he absolutely loves he will toss them in the air like that a few times before he eats it. It's pretty cute.

How do you teach roll over. I have always wanted to teach roll over, but I do not know where to start. I have taught sit, shake, down, speak, and high five. Mya has trouble with down...She just looks at the treat and sits...lol

It's a natural progression thing that takes advantage of the way she lays down. We started with sit, then down. Once she could down all the way, she has a tendency to pop both her back feet out on one side of her tushie. So we hold the treat in real close and kinda circle it around the back of her head in the direction towards the feet first. Her head tries to mimick an owl and usually ends up causing her to flop over on her side. Then it's just a matter of convincing her to complete the roll. A lot of the time, she ends up too close to furniture or cabinets or something and runs into them halfway over with her little feet sticking up in the air!

We can't do speak, just because Nala doesn't really bark anyways, but she knows sit, down (with coercion most times), shake, other paw (shake the second), high five (one paw), double high five (both paws), pretty (like begging position), and dance (begging position then bouncing up and down). We're trying to perfect roll over and start on bang bang. She has absolutely no clue for bang bang though. She looks at us like we're dumb and speaking Greek.

That is so awesome! I really hope she comes home.
I am so excited for the ducks! The pool I got is very thick too. I call it a pool, but I do not know if it actually called a pool...Lol Its black, thick, deep, and has a plug built into the bottom to drain it...It's a duck pool :) lol As much as I want Dotty to come back...I do not know if she will ever return to me. If I had her longer maybe, but I do not know if she was here long enough to come back to us. I hope she returns one day :)

It helps that when I first got her, the ex shipped out for a 8 month-er a week later. I was bored, by myself, in an unfamiliar area and worked 6 hours 5 days a week. Not a lot to do. Most of the basic ones we cranked out in the first month or two. She's 6 almost 7 now and has "forgotten" a few so we're retraining. It's an easy way to make her work for her treats, we don't like just handing over food. Moves us down in pack status. If I manage to get a video of her doing her tricks, I'll totally post it.

Is it sad that I'm actually at work right now? Bored out of my skull. It's flurry-ing, so not a lot of customers. You even whisper the s word and everybody here freaks then goes into hibernation mode.

Wish I had some food. And that the Netflix hadn't screwed itself up. Stupid auto pay tried to happen right as the insurance payment did and caused it to bounce. Now they won't turn it back on until I "update" the payment method. Only problem with that? I can't remember the password! I just use my app all the time.

So totally wish I could. It's not actually snowing though, it's just threatening to. The radar shows snow cover on our area since this morning but I'll be a alligator's aunt if I've seen a single snowflake actually make it within six feet of the ground. We barely even shut down last year though when it was the "blizzard". I remember three of us being here taking turns going out into the empty parking lot to play in the snow.

I got a better chance at getting the night guy to come in early so I can go due to "sickness". The weather can't decide what season we're in. It was 65 a couple days ago and supposed to be 28 tomorrow. Been doing this for like two weeks now and it's playing hell with my system. Developed a chest cough and sinus issues, little tough working in a vape shop sounding like I've got the plague. Can't do that though cuz the boss man would expect a dr's note and I can't afford to go to the urgent care for them to hand me a $100 scrip for drugs I can buy at Walmart OTC. Easier and way cheaper to just dose up at home on sudafed and mucinex. I just don't like taking them before work though cuz they make the cough worse. There's plague and then there's PLAGUE.

Nagini is such a pretty color. I actually got some close-up lenses for my camera, but I haven't had too much time to play with them yet. Here's one picture I took of Pumpkin with them, though.
