Heck sherri, the research has been done.....to great lengths, they just dont want to accept it. Not with companies like altria, rjr, GlaxoSmithKline, and Pfizer whispering in their ears that it is better for them to ban a proven product for the failing status quo of big pharma and big tobaccos abominable ideas into the market. I have absolutely no trust that companies like Altria and rjr will use only the 4 ingredients in current e liquid. They want a closed system that way they can control the ingredients. Yeah that worked well with stinkies didnt it. They loaded it up with extra chemicals. And we can trust them not to do it again.....yeah right

*bangs head against wall*

Today sucked.

Click at your own risk.
Yesterday, we discovered that our hot water heater had something wrong with it and was causing it to blow water all over the floor behind the washer and dryer, and had apparently been going on for awhile. I was wondering where that old basement smell had been coming from. Went on that escapade to Lowe's and bought parts. Got home, ate dinner and discovered we were just too tired to deal with it. Went to bed with the intentions of fixing it this morning.

Woke up this morning, went to get breakfast, checked my phone and the fun began. Apparently, one of my guys got his car stuck in his driveway yesterday. It's still not dug free and he was supposed to work an open to close today. So I sent out the message, and of course, everyone has things they can't cancel. One I understood, visiting a sick relative in the hospital about an hour away, but the other... who has a doctor's appointment on a Sunday? So, I had to go in. Was texting back and forth with SO all day. Apparently we bought the wrong parts last night, so he went back to Lowe's, got more wrong parts and finally gave up. Never could get somebody in to relieve me, even though I told them flat out I had busted stuff at home with a pic of the damage, so I ended up closing the shop at 5 with a sign on the door that said employee emergency.

Just got the heater "fixed". Still gonna have to take it apart again as soon as we get another chance or else it's gonna blow up again. Cuz I totally want more water damage to deal with...

On a bright note, I have discovered there's approximately $700 in stuff I want from fasttech. Cuz that's how much I have in my cart from surfing through going "Ooh! Pretty!".

I think I might need to pare that down a little.

Maybe.
I swore that I was done buying stuff......and yet I just placed an order today with Fasttech. Saw that Sigelei came out with the Fuchai 213 Plus....basically the same as the Fuchai 213, but with a larger color screen. Ordered two of them.

Oh, sweetie...I'm sorry... but that wins as most sucky day from hell!
When it snows... Apparently it's an avalanche.

Overall, I'm fine. The water heater was an annoyance, my main irritant was the children I babysit. Cuz that's seriously what it feels like. Or herding cats.
Ugh, that sucks! Ours blew up a few months ago and if my husband hadn't been in the same room as the water heater we would have had a major fire. Some wires shorted out and blew a hole in the tank and we were literally seconds away from the whole thing catching fire. Still creeps me out thinking about it. I'm glad you guys got yours semi-fixed. I hope you can get it really fixed ASAP!
Ack! That woulda scared the beejezzus outta me! Hope you got that all squared away...

Fortunately ours is not THAT major, it's a secondary issue. He finally explained it. Like 6-7 months ago or something Ike that, the county went around and installed back flow preventers or whatever they're called. Now, if our water heater over charges, the pressure has nowhere to go so it vents out the overflow instead of back down the line. He didn't think it was going to be an issue but our water heater "broke" and is slow tripping the switch that says it's full, causing it to vent to relieve pressure almost every time it refills.

We got an expansion tank installed which will give the water somewhere to go not on my floor, but we're still gonna need to correct the slow stop problem. Baby steps.

I may or may not have one in the cart. Also a Smok AL85 kit. And...

I figure I got to get the total back down to $100 or less. Time to figure out which things I like better than others.

I'm sitting about $100... I'll change my mind a few times before I can pull the trigger anyways...lol

It's only too much sugar when half the container is sugar! Mwahahahaha sugar rush!

I got it figured out. Didn't want to change the password cuz my tablet, my phone, his phone, and the tv are all hooked in. That's alot of stuff to update. I forgot he had changed it like right after we set it up to make it easier to input on certain devices.

Ok, had to.

So.... you're gonna start vaping in 17,995 years?
That's good you got it figured out :)

Oh I know that research has been done ad nauseum. I just meant long-term effects of vaping. They keep saying it hasn't been around long enough to know anything yet and that's BS. There are studies being done by those in the vaping community but not by TPTB. We can tell them ourselves how vaping affects us but they don't want to hear that we can run, have no shortness of breath, no cough, no fatigue, none of the effects of smoking, but they don't want to hear that. It's so frustrating.

I ended up ordering the "kit". I really don't need the tank (perfectly happy with the Pure and can't imagine finding another tank that I might like better), but considering that it is only $6 more for the kit rather than just the mod, it makes sense to get the kit. The kit is only available in blue, red, and orange, and I already have the orange in the original Fuchai 213.

Yep, we had to replace the whole thing. It was totally fried, lol. I'm so glad yours is nothing major, although I would be pretty annoyed, too, with water all over the floor. I'm glad you are getting it taken care of. :)

Too funny about your overblown FT cart! I can't even go there. There's a lot I would love to have right now! :)
