14 weeks… She wasn't real excited about this pregnancy so soon after losing the baby, but she's making the best of it .
Just let her know, that even though we don't know her personally, she's still family. No matter what, if she needs an extra friend MJ, you've got my number ;)

Oh, I wish!
I know. That was always such a scary time for me with mine, the first few months. I was afraid to let them out of my sight. My mom had a scare with my sister. If she hadn't checked on her when she did my sister might not be here. She had to keep reviving her for the better part of an hour, but by the time they got to the hospital my sister had come around. I can't remember the details, but scientists have discovered something in the brain that can cause SIDS. At least they have finally identified a physical cause, which is the first step!

Oh dang, she's second trimester! That really would be bittersweet to find out you are having another so soon after losing a child. I hope the rest of the pregnancy is trouble free. It will be hard enough to get through those first few months with this one.

Poor thing!! She must be verry stressed out.

I have had a couple of brutal days on my forum. Just over some really silly crap.

Tomorrow is our house inspection. When you live in a state park house they do an inspection once a year.

Fun Fun!! I should be making sure that everything is perfect but I will get to that later LOLOL
Uh oh! Good luck with the forum. People really have a bad habit of taking things too far, don't they?

Thanks to all of you for the kind thoughts… She's really having a rough time right now and I'm glad I'm able to be there for her when others aren't .
I'm so glad she has you. You are the perfect person to help her through this. That's why we love you so much, sis!!

Bahahaha! That's priceless!! That dude is making huge waves in an attempt to try and make himself look like less of an idiot. Sorry dude. Still and idiot.

Did you see that the House passed a bill that will repeal the deeming regs?! Now it just has to pass the Senate. It's possible that EVERYTHING will be repealed, all the way back to last May. I just hope the new administration is serious about not killing small businesses. That will help a lot!

Hehehehehe.... my batteries arrived today after a tough stand off with USPS acting like they weren't going to deliver till tomorrow.

I gots my 18350s! Totally building an LPG tomorrow at work. Mini mod here I come.

I do have to wait for a second shipment though. Illumn forgot to send my zippy battery cases. But, their customer support is awesome. Got a new tracking number within hours of bringing it to their attention.

Illumn is awesome. I had an issue with an order, they threw in a free bug light with my order :)
Will always order from them, when you order batteries in pairs, you get a free case.

What's telling is if you read the guy's Facebook post, he says that the shop regularly built coils for him and he had no problems. It was after the deeming regs were released and the shop could no longer build coils, he tried making them himself. And that is when his mech shorted and blew up in his face.

No one should be allowed to purchase a mech mod without being able to show that they are proficient and actually understand the risks. They should be forced to use one of the hundreds of mods available that has protections built in that would save them from themselves with short protection, time limits to how long they can fire the mod, etc. On Facebook I see posts all the time of guys showing off the coils that they have in their mech mods and bragging how the coils are something around 0.05 or 0.06 ohms or even lower.

I don't Facebook, so I haven't seen this ridiculousness.
Mech mods in the wrong hands can be like dynamite. I never recommend to anyone that has to ask, "can I vape a .05 coil with rewrapped trust fire battery

Unfortunately, I see that crap all the time. We have a regular at work that used nothing but mechanicals and drippers. I didn't find out until after Aug that he had no clue how to build, cuz I was the one working when he walked in to get new coils and I had to break the news to him. Thankfully, he was smart enough to immediately buy the materials, sit down and say "teach me". I see all too many that aren't.

At the same time though, I don't understand the interest in the super low .0x builds either. There's low and then there's stupid low. I actually have an employee (or three) like that. One guy twisted and claptoned some wires by hand one day, no drill, and built a set of coils for his Kennedy/smpl. (He was really bored that day.) I asked him if he had ohmed it when I saw him hit and fog out half the room, his response was no. I Gibbs smacked him, grabbed a reader and the bloody thing was popping a .04. Looked him dead in the eye and said don't vape that if you're within five feet of me, I like my hide where/how it is. (Side note: this particular employee is the one I wanna buy a shirt for that says ohms law isn't a suggestion, don't kiss the coils, and don't drip and drive. Guess which incident got ohms law on there?)

Prime candidates? Yes. Likely to recieve? Maybe, our health care is too good. (Ha!) Going to sue everybody and anybody for their own lack of brain cells and common sense? Hell yeah.

See, you're dealing with a smart one in your example.... They think to ask.

Some shops are to blame as well. When I'm working, if anybody asks about the mech case that I don't know well, I let them know those are advanced vaper only equipment with no computer chips, no auto safetys and require the user to do their own math and be their own guardian angel. Usually steers the newbies clear. The shop down the road however, I've gotten multiple reports, even recently, that they've tried to push beginners literally just starting into buying mechs. Sometimes with tanks, sometimes with RDAs. Fortunately most tried elsewhere, but I worry about the ones who maybe didnt and bought whatever equipment they were slinging.
