Lol...I wish, but it's gonna be one or the other at tax time. We're going to have to replace the fridge, so we'll see what the budget looks like after we tackle that.

With all this speak of sideways rain, I gotta put my two cents in. We've been having rain for like four days straight now and today we've got the heavy gusts to go with it. Tried to put the dog out this morning on my way to work, she took one look outside and started backpedaling through the door! "Oh Hell Nah Mom!" I had to physically pick her up and throw her out of the house! ...pretty sure all she did was run around the side of the house and hide under the porch stairs until she heard me open the door again. (I really gotta invest in some potty pads for days like this. It's better than cleaning the floor.)

Btw, I gave up on trying to steep that 8oz bottle of Castle Short. Loaded up the RBA in my Cubis and popped that badboy on my iStick40. Rocking the older gen. equipment today. After about half the tanks worth, the heat has made it start to taste almost right! lol

So... one of the regulars at work came in and saw me using my LPG the other day. Mentioned his roommate had ordered some batteries a while back and didn't realize they came in different sizes. Was pretty sure the ones he got were the ones I was using (18350 eFest metallic purple 700mah) instead of 18650s.

Roommate confirmed he had 10 of them, I offered payment so he wouldn't be out the money. He brought them by and dropped them off, saying no money was necessary cuz he only paid like $12 for all 10. Turns out, they weren't 18350, they're 18500. Efest Red V1 1000mah. From what I can find, they're 10amp pulse.

I only have two mods that can accept those, my Cronus and my Emmas. Debating getting a custom made stab wood squonk box that accepts them.

Other than that, anybody here use 18500s?

Grab a couple Harbor Freight flashlights, remove the battery sled and use the 18500's in the flashlight

They would work in my Zmax or Kmax telescopics. But they've been retired for a while now.

The lil cheap flashlights that run on 3 AAA batteries has a lil plastic battery holder, remove the whole piece. An 18500 battery fits perfect and will last way longer than the standard cheap AAA's that come with it.

Eenie, meenie, miney, mo! That's a rough one. John did say that the new one is a good one, though. I can only speak for the original Fuchai 213. I'm watching the press conference right now, though, and I'm freaking out a little bit. What if we stop being able to order gear from China???? When will that happen? Day 1 and I am already having a major anxiety attack. UGH.
