So I have a interesting question for yall. Ya got a food that you used to eat in childhood/young adult stage that people think you're crazy for liking still? Mine is easy cheese, I think it's funny Jake thinks it's disgusting, it's like a fuzzy blanket on a cold day to me.
This may not fit your question, but i will tell it anyway. When i was in the navy, my first duty station was a little rock called adak ak. About twice a year my grandmother would send me a care package, it contained a few different items, but always had a bag of otc crackers and a full roll of Lebanon bologna. Those tow things are still high on my comfort food list to this day

Yup...and it's disgusting! My mom was making a huge pot of homemade chicken soup, and decided she didn't want to roll out the big egg noodles she always liked to do from scratch. So...she just pulled chunks of the dough ball and dropped them in. Little rubbery balls of pasta...ahhhh...heaven!!!
Sounds like a pot of slightly watery chicken and dumplings to me

I have to agree it just sounds like chicken and dumplings to me without any thickener added to the broth.
Pretty much what I made for dinner tonight since my son does not like me thickening the broth.
Hubby said for him that he still likes lunchables. I can't think of anything that is that weird for me. I mean I have things like animal crackers or goldfish right now, but those don't seem that strange.
I don't think lunchables or goldfish crackers are childish?
About the only thing that I can think of that I like that is probably a childhood comfort food is cup of noodle soup. You know the kind that come in a cup and you add hot water and let sit for 3 mins.
Red, does Max like food dispensing toys? Like the Bob-A-Lot? In shopping for puppy toys for Rio I came across the food dispensing toys. We actually have the friskies cat version, which Boopy has no interest in.
So I put some puppy food in it and gave it to Rio.... He LOVED it! But I knew he would quckly out grow it.. so I ordered him the Bob-A-Lot (the large one) he gets 2 of his meals a day out of it. just loves it!!!
I am going to order him a couple of different types just to give him a different challenge.
