All of my friends are totally laughing at me for buying him sooo much. When I said custom made leash?
I finaly just had to enlighten them to the fact ... That when they offered hubs this job.. The pay was much higher.. but before he accepted this postion he said.. 10% above that and I will talk to my wife and think about it.
The bosses that be barely flintched and agreed quickly!

I am really not as materialistic as I seem to sound these days. I am just enjoying the very much extra money for a tiny little while.
It is kind of fun for just a little time to buy whatever my heart desires.Even better that my hubby said "buy whatever you want baby"
After raising 7 children on a budget (3 sibs and 4 ours) those words were sweet to hear.
I mean? I can buy whatever I want? (not millionaire money but alot more than he use to be paid)

It is actually getting a little boring now. Do the dogs really need another toy? Do I really need another outfit?
The best I can even justify at this point is maybe new sheets and towels.
I just bought 3 formal gowns for formal events that I haveto attend.. Really?? 3? I did not even need one. I have formal gowns. I think that at least one still has a tag on it. Who knows? it is in my overflow closet.
Someone needs to erase the credit card number from my memory.

Well, night fam....beat from only getting an hour and a half sleep last night due to a night shoot on a movie yesterday, and an early morning call that lasted all day today. Think I may actually sleep good tonight.

It's definitely nice to spoil yourself sometimes! Can't say we didn't indulge a bit when things weren't as tight for us. Would probably still be spoiling ourselves a little, but hubbies hours started getting cut a few weeks ago. Darn slow times.

Enjoy it while it lasts! I did a little bit of that when hubby was working in the oil fields. It was really nice to be able to stock up on stuff and squirrel money away for the inevitable end of that run. Oh and I made off with a few (lot) of mods and tanks, too! The best part of all was paying down a large amount of debt we had incurred over the years and not having to worry about pinching every single penny. I miss those days.

Rio has a vet appt today. For his final shots and we are getting him microchipped.
