Positive thoughts for you and your mom.

The hospital said my dad has renal failure and his blood work is out of whack. Looks like he'll be missing another chemo treatment, but thank goodness he only has 2 more to go and hopefully he can finally begin to recover.

Ugh, he has had a really long road!! My dad at least gets a break every 3 weeks. 2 weeks on, one week off, but he will have to do that forever unless they come up with some great breakthrough for renal cell carcinoma. It just plain SUCKS. I am praying for your dad. Two more treatments is getting close! It's just horrible that it is making him so sick.

I thought the same thing so I had to Google it. They look pretty similar to that, though the saturation might have been bumped up a tad.

Speaking of snakes, tonight was Dax's feeding night again. He ate fine.

The bad news of the night is my dad was just rushed to the hospital. He has been really sick lately and constantly throwing up.

My Mom is having a full hysterectomy tomorrow morning. After 5 years of going through just awful stuff she finally got a doctor who worked hard to get her insurance to approve it. The Doctor also founds cysts on her ovaries...so they are removing everything. I am worried about it. The Doctor said she has swelling in there, and he is a little worried about it. I pray and hope the procedure goes perfect.

Sending good thoughts to her, I hope it goes as smoothly as mine did. Have her stick to soft foods, and have a pillow handy. It helps for laughs, coughs, and gas pains.

OMG she is going to feel SOOOOO much better after that surgery!! I had no idea how uncomfortable I was until after my hysterectomy. I still have my ovaries, though, so I didn't have to go through full menopause, but they had to pull my guts out and look at them because they saw a white spot on my bowel and that put me in surgical menopause for 6 weeks, so that was no fun, lol. Still, out of all of the surgeries I have ever had, that one is at the top of my list for how much better I felt after it was all over. Prayers for you and your mom tomorrow that it all goes well and she starts feeling better very, very soon.

Amazing how much better we both felt right after!

I take 2 even when I am running to the store! I have been a lot better about leaving one of them in the car while I shop, though. I don't even know why I carry 1 in with me. It's not like I can vape in the store, lol!

If I do take 2, they stay in my purse because the truck gets sooooo hot. I actually caught myself vaping in Wally World one night...lmaoooo

I know it! I know we have talked about that before. It really was mind-blowing to feel so much better so fast. I'd do it again in a heartbeat!!

Depending on the time, you vaping was probably the least exciting and strange thing that was seen that night. I swear wal mart after midnight is as bad as a carnival side show

Me to, i vape at work, and they have a no tobacco policy here. Yes they include vaping as well, but luckily i work in a separate and more uncomfortable building than everyone else so we tend to get away with breaking that rule a little easier at night

Oh no! I have trouble with mine, too. It keeps squishing down and the battery won't get a good connection, so I have to pry it back up to make it connect. Did yours actually break off?

Yea, mine is hanging on by a thread. Thats what happened with mine. Mine was already weak, and Prying it up made it worse. Be careful, because it could make yours weak too.

When I lived in California, my favorite time to go shop at WalMart was late at night, since it wasn't as crowded. That said, the worst time was right around midnight, because they would shut their registers down to do a daily close, so you were stuck there for 20 minutes or longer until they were done and could start ringing people up. There were many a time I would go shop there at 1 or 2 am and it would be perfect because there were still a lot of people there shopping, but you could get your stuff and you would be through the checkout fairly quickly.

So glad to hear it's over already...and she got to keep that one ovary. It will make her life a lot easier!!

I wish they kept more than 1-2 self check stations open late at night.
