Just ordered a new toy......65 inch Samsung curved 4K TV. Time to retire my old rear projection Sony. Ordered it from Amazon so will be getting it on Monday. Supposedly I could have gotten it on Friday, but I also ordered a stand and the stand won't get here until Monday.

Well current track has me looking at 25-50 mph winds sat night into Sunday, unless the track changes and moves farther inland, we are on the extreme outskirts of the storm

That's doable! I'm glad you are only on the fringe as of right now. I hope it stays that way. :)

No, but its gonna make getting firewood out of the question for a few days or more

But getting firewood will be much easier AFTER the storm! Believe me, we are still harvesting wood from the trees that blew down in 2007, lol. Well WE aren't, but people here are.

NICE!!! Wow, a 65 inch. When I got my Samsung 50" 3D Smart TV 2 Christmasses ago it was between that and the 55" curved. Both are 4K, but the 3D won out over the curve. I'm really happy with mine but I think I would love another 15", lol! You can never have too much screen. :D

As for collecting, the wife and i have come to the conclusion that when we cut, since we cant get quantity on the truck, each load must be quality wood so we are being very picky about what we cut. The cut a bunch of oak, walnut, and maple, so we are trying to stick to that

While i do, i also dont, we need the excess water, we barely had any rain all summer, i cant remember any at this point, so while what we got last week was nice, we need more, its still quite dry here

I get that. It's hard when you catch up on moisture all at once! I hope you guys get a good soak without getting all of the wind that goes with it. That's when tree blow-down is at it's worst!

That makes total sense. We are picky about the kind of wood we burn, too. Hemlock and cottonwood burn WAY too fast, so we don't even consider it. We stick to the firs 'round these parts. :D
