I just hope we're prepared. I checked to make sure I am not behind on laundry. One thing I hate during storm season is to have a load of laundry in the washer when the power goes out, lol. I'm pretty much caught up on that right now, though, so I don't need to start a load. Bring on da stormz!
Awwwe, silly hubbys! Mine doesn't get super excited about too much so I'm used to it, but I'm always trying to find something that gets him excited. Unless it's something to do with hunting or fishing, I never have much luck.

I will make sure my phone stays on a charger at work all day today in case the power goes out. Nothing worse than a dead phone battery when the power's out! Well except for a dead mod, but I got that covered. My reuleaux should keep me going through a power outage!

That's the plan! My husband doesn't start work until 10:30 today and they are watching the Port of Tacoma for closures. The longshoremen don't like to work in big weather, lol. I really hope the fishermen stay put until this is over. We are expecting really high seas. My dad and brother are supposed to be leaving on Saturday for Eastern Washington (deer hunting) and I hope they stay put until Sunday. I don't want them trying to get over the pass in this!!

I wonder what causes it to be rough on the throat? Maybe a flavoring they used or their nicotine? I would not think 3mg would do it, but maybe they used the throat hit nicotine?

I know! We got a generator when the 2007 event happened so we will at least be able to run phones and mods and if comcast goes down we will st least have that. Oh and my kindle. I had better download the next few books on queue just in case!

I'm dealing with flies today...when Jim goes upstairs in the morning to shower (he hates the shower in the master bath) he leaves the back door open for max. Today when I got up to let the dogs out there were like 10 flies sitting on the sliding door! I'm so grossed out...lol...I vacuumed them up, sprayed the door with ant/roach killer, cleaned the glass, and still saw one fly back. WTF??? Have never had this before!
