It is black, however, the coils are not "true" ceramic coils. The coil wire is kanthal, and it is wrapped with a cotton wick. The only ceramic is the barrel of the coil housing.

Right, they are a hybrid ceramic coil. I actually really like that type. That's what the Luggy coil was. Too bad they never went anywhere with those coils. They were amazing!

I think you mentioned in a prior post that you suggested to her that she hire an attorney.. I think that is an excellent idea.
Not to be dramatic but I do not trust Dr's that screw up like it is starting to sound like they may have, to not do or say whatever to protect their own collective butts.

Not to be dramatic but I do not trust Dr's that screw up like it is starting to sound like they may have, to not do or say whatever to protect their own collective butts.

I've been lucky to work with some amazing docs, and nurses. I don't know for sure what happened in this case… But I know that mistakes were made. He was not even treated by a doctor some nurses took it upon themselves to treat a three-month-old baby in cardiac arrest without a doctor there.

Our niece...just 3 months old. She had a friend who works at another hospital call to see what she could find out. Her sons records from the day he died are frozen pending an internal investigation. Seems no MD saw him in the ER and he was given either wrong meds or was overdosed since they didn't weigh him.

That is just so heartbreaking....my heart goes out to her hugs to her and her family.

About the baby.. didn't the EMT's treat him first on the way to the hospital?

Ambulance medics got a pulse back and an IV started, from what she was told. No medication was given until he got to the ER. As far as Krystal knows, no doctor ever saw him, no doctor ever treated him, and he was pronounced dead and signed off by a doctor after he'd been brought in a room with Krystal and her husband and the nurses had already told him he was dead. Someone at the hospital knows something, because his records have been frozen since right after he died.

Her hubby found an attorney.... a few calls were made, and Brandon was able to pick up medical records. He's on his way to the ME for all records from autopsy up to this point. After they both get home, they have asked if I'll go over them with them. Everything will be scanned in and emailed to me...and then we'll go through them page by page together tonight. I feel like I'm about to go down the rabbit hole...

I sneak out of class 3 hours early to go back to my room to relax.........and they're doing construction on the floor right above mine. I have been listening to them using either a jackhammer or an impact driver/hammer nearly nonstop for the past hour and a half. The front desk says that they're supposed to stop construction at 5 pm.

I'm so impatient. Hate waiting on stuff to dry. I swear it feels like I've been working on our Halloween costumes forever, but it's only been 2 weeks.
So excited to finish them and take pictures, though.
