Hi!!!
Oh, nooooooo...that sucksI want to hope so. I saw it coming down from multiple places, but I couldn't tell exactly where. It looked like it was raining under the car. Crazy how fast that happens. We just used the car less than 12 hours ago and it seemed fine. We went to get lunch and lost 1/4 tank of gas in like 5 minutes.
Can't do anything or take it anywhere until Wednesday.. Probably going to have to have it towed.![]()
Shhhhh...lol...That's a medical condition, shhhhhhh

I had a similar problem before with my old Volvo S60. It dripped gas (not nearly as bad) and would leave the garage with a strong smell of gasoline. Turned out it was the fuel pump and it ended up costing me a grand to replace. And then it ended costing another grand because the Volvo had a saddle tank with a main tank and a secondary tank. Turned out that some sort of electrical circuit failed as well which allowed gas to be pumped from the smaller tank. So whenever I drove the car and the fuel gauge dropped to between 1/3 and 1/4 tank remaining, I would run out of gas.I want to hope so. We have a little Shiba that comes to the park to play on sundays. He's so cute, but he needs to switch to decaf.Went shopping today and stopped in the pet store to play with puppies.....saw a couple of Shiba Inu's and a Pom/Shiba mix. They were so damn cute....almost came home with one.
I admire your persistence!man, my hand is gonna fall off, been working on getting enough Clapton wire built for two coils by hand..again. obviously I'm denying any Self-defeating tendencies lol
That sucks! I hope it isn't the same and doesn't cost anywhere near that. I won't have a car anymore lolI had a similar problem before with my old Volvo S60. Fingers crossed for an easy, cheap fix! That sucks! I hope it isn't the same and doesn't cost anywhere near that. I won't have a car anymore lol
The fuel pump itself isn't too expensive....at most a couple of hundred bucks (and that is for an import). The expense was the labor involved in getting to the fuel pump and swapping it out. In the Volvo, getting access to the fuel pump requires removing the entire rear seat, then draining the gas tank and cleaning out all the sludge accumulated in it.That sucks! The Shiba Pom mix was the cutest thing. It looked like a tiny Shiba with the thin pointy snout of the Pom. He was a bundle of energy when I first picked him up and he kept chewing on my fingers, my shirt, giving me puppy kisses. Then he settled down and just hung out on my arms.We have a little Shiba that comes to the park to play on sundays. He's so cute, but he needs to switch to decaf.
Oh NO! That's definitely not good.I want a vacation.. from life. Just noticed our car is literally pouring gas out.![]()
