He really is a tough one!! This was his 2nd attack by Mya. Both times I got to him just in time. He is doing much better today. He was quacking and walking faster.

I am relieved he is ok! He cannot really fly Alot of bigger ducks cannot fly. They can glide or fly off of a hill, but it's hard for them to take flight. My hen duck can fly like a .... She is a flying mallard though. It is not impossible for a ruen to fly, because Dad's ruen he had would fly with the flying mallards. My Dad said his ruen tried many times before he actually was able to fly. One thing I have noticed with both my chickens and ducks is that when the dogs have gotten after them or attacked them over the last couple of years, it's like they freeze up and panic. You would think they would jump up on something or go under something that the dogs cannot reach them on,but instead they just run. Also, they always run the opposite direction I am in instead of running to me. If they would run towards me I could stop it before it even starts. I wonder what Mya would do if Duddy swatted her on the nose...lol

Oh, yeah, that's typical of them. Same for DHgate. They're notorious of over estimating delivery dates and tracking sucks. Had some stuff arrive for work the other day that hadn't been scanned in a week and a half since the port, and just went poof! Hi!

Your copycat! I've had the rainbow kit in my cart for almost a week. Preorder looks to be about the same time as end of CNY. Want so bad.... can't really justify the money though. Course, if I buy it local, I can't get that color and it cost $85+tax.
