Hey skelley, the ones from iVape come in the blister packs, and the ones before it that were short wicked also came in the blister packs. I'll be 100% certain if they have the flavor strand later this week.

The other ones were all individually vacuum sealed. Weird, and I'm assuming that's why they don't work nearly as well.

For now, I took out the super thick wicks and I made very thin strands of cotton wick (As thin as I could get them, still a little on the thicker side) and laid it over the coils. They are extra long. I'm gonna let them sit for awhile and try them out.

Thanks for all the information. Seriously. I asked an iVape vendor from Reddit if they knew who were they supplied by, or who the OEM was and they didn't seem to know (He just said Kanger). I think iVape has the originals, but other vendors may not.

All I know for sure is the first set of heads I had could push 4 volts fairly easily, and the ones I have now taste burnt as hell at anything above 3.7. There is definitely a difference.

I just tried some 'not vision' CE4 CC's and they were horrible.
The vendor listed them as 'not vision' and I can respect that. I like vendors that don't try to fool their customers and that keeps their sites saved in my browsers shortcuts ;)
I've bought from Joe (iVape) before, but he was sold out at the time. Bummer too as I wanted to throw some of his juice in my order.
Let us know when you get the new heads from him if they have the flavor strand :)

And I just roasted my first cotton wick... Haha it was so damn harsh.

It was thin, and sat for awhile. The taste was actually really muted (Once again, I think my wicks are too thick).

So maybe I'll just have to hope to get some solid heads to use.

Skelley, I'll let you know what the wicks are like. They used to only have short wicks, but now they're the long wick version.

But damn... This burning cotton is horrible tasting.

I have actually tried trimming the sleeve... And no matter how short I get it, it is just a leaking mess. I swear it was less than a millimeter last time. Leaked almost instantly.

My new heads arrive on Thursday so I'll know for sure then/

I cleaned 3 heads last night really well, let them soak in steaming hot water (Like ridiculously hot) for quite some time, dried them over night and filled them up, and laid them on their side to soak in the juice.

So far the results are mixed... I am having 0 leaking problems, but the vapor output is disappointing. I can't really crank the voltage up or it tastes burnt almost instantly.

I'm seriously thinking these were some off-brand junk heads I got (I had never used the vendor before, got a good labor day sale). The flavor/vapor part could be just a dud, but the first set of heads I got would rock over 4 volts, standard or low resistance.

It is seriously boggling my mind. It may have been because the first sets of heads were short wicked? No clue.

Edit- Also, the juice I'm using is quite a bit thinner than what I had before. I have a whole mess of 50/50 juice on the way to do more troubleshooting with!
