Hi,

Just got my Elite Classic from epuffer and like it so far, but exactly how important is it to charge that battery 8 hours the first time? I'd thought it was charged up once it was green on the charger so I thought all was fine. That battery is now back on the charger and then I'll put the other battery that came with it in the charger after the 8 hours. Since these are li-ion batteries that don't have a "memory", shouldn't it be ok if they weren't charged for the full 8 hours the first time?

Also, does anyone know the model number of the Elite Classic from e-puffer? Just asking so I can shop around for better prices on the batteries and atomizers than they have on their site. There is no model number listed anyplace on their site or anywhere's in the box or manual that came with it. Are there other parts from other sites that are compatible with this one?

Thanks for any help!
Sheila

Looks a heck of a lot like an 801 (penstyle). I don't know for sure but at 150mm length there's not much else it could be:)
I can't say for sure one way or another about the first battery charge, i've never had the patience to charge one for 8 hours on purpose. Whatever you do, don't drop the things, that can mess up their internal on/off switches (learned that first-hand :))

NEVER EVER NEVER let the battery drain completely otherwise it will be dead pernamently. Thats the nature of these batteries.

I'm still waiting for my first kit to arrive, so I'm sooo new at this that I haven't even seen an ecig yet and am totally clueless, sooo...

I don't won't to kill the batteries as soon as I get them by letting them drain completely...

How will I know they're low before they get to the "drained completely" point???

I'm pretty clueless here too about these since I just got mine within the past couple of days and the instructions that came with them aren't all that good ;-). So I've been doing alot of lurking, reading, and asking questions in here.
