I had 5 pre-filled carts for my 510 from innovapor.com, its like a chore trying to draw on it.. Have you ever tried to drink a milkshake that just refused to come through the straw? thats what this is like... I have tried repacking the cartridge and its the same thing. >.<

On to my second problem, I filled up my cart with EcoPure Rich as the site said (10 drops with no filler, set the filler in there and add 3 more drops or until topped off, then wipe the top with a paper towel) This gets me about 10-15 good puffs then it starts to taste like burning and really harsh (if I can get the draw), I take my filler out of the cart and notice that the top have is white and the bottom half is still soaked in e-liq.

This IS my first PV, so before I start knocking things maybe I am doing something wrong here..

Any one have any suggestions on what to do? anyone encounter the same problems? do I have a faulty atomizer? are my carts messed up? o_O;

anything would help.

Thank you.

Try pushing the button down for about a second before beginning your draw. Heating up the coil vastly improves it.

But first, I'd toss the batting and make some carts of your own out of Lipton pyramid-shaped tea bags. Pretty easy and vastly improves draw. Another thing to try is the "straw mod" to improve air flow and wicking from the bottom of the cart.

The burning and harsh taste you describe could be just the new atomizer breaking in -- they tend to taste that way for a few days. It improves. Or, it could be tiny "hairs" from the batting sticking to the atomizer and frying. Which tastes REALLY bad. That's vastly improved by using tea bags as filler -- no more minute hairs to try and pluck out with tweez

I'm not a big fan of the Ecopure VG. I had the same experience as you, but within a few days of breaking in the atty, my draw was better. I also removed some of the filter material and made sure it was topped off.

Try switching juices to a PG base. The Joye 510 is a very good product, so I wouldn't worry about the hardware.

I ordered some juice from Shawn at litecigusa, I'll see how those go O.O

You don't have the rubber cap that's on the cartridge still on there or stuck down in the atomizer do you?

Oh man! So thats that burning rubbery taste?!

>.> No I am not that stupid.

Draw should not be a problem, I have an atty that just won't draw though, clearly it's defective because the other half dozen I've used draw very easily.

A bunch of the round tip cartridges I bought a few weeks ago were packed way too tight will filler material, that also seemed to be causing drag problems. I ripped most of the fillers in half lengthwise and that resolved that issue.

The "new" non-joye510 atomizer I bought from innovapor draws too easily, it's like sucking on a straw that isn't in anything.

Ecopure seems to have a wicking issue for me, even in my whistletip carts with the spongelike filler it takes a very long time to wick. My guess is the burning taste you're getting is because your atomizer is drying out because the liquid isn't wicking very well. Keep the bridge wet and the burning taste will go away, I saw lots of people saying that a month ago and thought they were nuts, how could wetness have any effect on burning taste after all? I don't know why it does, but it does.

As an aside, ecopure vapor leaves a waxy film on everything it touches, my lips, mouth, tongue, fingers and 510 are all coated in wax... it's very weird. So good luck with that too. The flavor is pleasant but film is just annoying beyond words.

I wasn't calling you stupid. I have read posts from a couple people with their first PV asking if that cap should stay on or not. You asked for suggestions, I gave you one. Since this is your first PV I don't know how much you do or don't know.

I see. No, the cap was pretty obvious that it needed to come off in order for the air to flow through, and to fit on the end of the atomizer o_O;

pyramid tea bag are like day and night compared to the regular cart material!

Align the rectangle in the cart to to rectangle at the bottom of the atty!

if you don't the hot atty could be closer to the sides of the cart and start heating up your cart- might get plasticky taste

Some say alignment is unnessary but I disagree

Does any tea bag work? or does it have to be the lipton pyramid? *probably has been asked before* >.>
