So my first couple of syringe plungers were either flat plastic or flat black rubber (which I liked better as they slide easier). So I ordered a couple from Wizard Labs because they had the rubber ends, but when they came the rubber end has like a cone point so I'm wondering if I measure using the flat edge of the rubber(higher than the tip of the cone) will the amount of liquid actually be what the line says it is? Hope this is understandable.

You'll note the rubber end forms two black rings where it seats against the barrel. Read measurements at the "ring" closest to the needle tip. In the sketch below this would be the vertical line (i.e. "|") furthest to the left.

(needle) ----===||====|---| (plunger)

The design of the syringe compensates for curved or pointed portions of the plunger. Let me know if not clear.

Thanks, so the edge of the plunger at the line and don't worry about the "cone"

Excellent explination of measurement accuracy using a syringe. The only thing I would add is when adding your flavor when you plunged all flavor from the syringe don't pull back and draw up air to plunge out what's left in the needle. What's left in the needle should be discarded or put back in the flavor bottle. Adding whats left in the needle although not a significant amount will through off the measurement. This becomes more significant when measuring out small amounts such as minor notes or additives of let's say .5 (Point 5) percent or less or .05mls or less.
