Measuring Equipment for DIYers

Hey there lilfarmtruck!

The pipettes that pair with the pumps are actually made from polystyrene. When we first got them in I thought they were glass too. They are for sure the final answer to precise measurements. With the 1ml polystyrene pipette you can get an accuracy up to 1/100 ml.

I already emailed about this, but I might get a faster answer here so I'll ask here too. What is the graduation of the 2ml pipettes? What about the 5ml? If it's in this thread I missed it. All I saw was the first post about the glass ones. TIA

Nevermind. I read further. They are the same. 5ml here I come.

Okay, I ordered the 5ml, but now find myself wondering if they have the same problem that the 10ml have. What volume do they start at? The 10ml start at 1ml and I need to measure less than that. Can anyone tell me?

I am sorry, we looked and didnt find an email.

1ml pipette graduations marked to 1/100th of a ml
2ml pipette graduations marked to 1/50th of a ml
5ml pipette graduations marked to 1/10th of a ml
10ml pipette graduations marked to 1/10 of a ml
