There would be 8/32 in 1/4. Or, you could go in your kitchen and get a 1/4 tsp. to use instead. ;)

That's assuming you have a 1/4 tsp in your kitchen. If you are asking how many tsp to make 10% of a 10 ml solution, I don't know the answer to that. It would depend on the weight x volume of the crystals. Someone here probably has a good way to estimate that.

One of those days...... I received Ethyl Maltol. It comes with a 1/32 teaspoon. How many make 1/4 teaspoon? Making a 10% solution 10 ml pg. My brain is fried right now. Thanks.

Man... Teaspoons to ml does make a Brain Hurt. LOL

Eight 1/32 Teaspoons = 1/4 Teaspoon.

Maybe the next time you order some DIY Supplies, you could pick up some ml Syringes. Or a Graduated Cylinder. Working in ml is Much Easier.

BTW - 1 Teaspoon is Equal to about 5ml. So 2 Teaspoons is about 10ml

10% of 10ml is 1ml.

or

10% of 2 Teaspoons is .2 Teaspoons.

So .2 teaspoons is 1/5 of a Teaspoon.

and 1/5 of a Teaspoon is about 6/32.

Hence: 10% of 10ml is about Six 1/32 Teaspoons.

I'm not sure if this is any Help. Because with all this Teaspoon Talk, I can't even Remember what the Question Was/Is?

Stand back! Head may explode! lol Hmm going by directions from 1stopdiyshop

Product Description

Our Ethyl Maltol comes with a scoop for measuring, the scoop is 1/32nd of a tsp.

Ethyl Maltol is a very pleasant smelling chemical that is used as a flavorant for the food, beverage, tobacco, and fragrance industry. Ethyl Maltol can be described as having notes of caramelized sugar or cotton candy.

Ethyl Maltol can sweeten/soften sharp flavors in liquid, especially tobacco absolute.

Suggested dilution: Dissolve 1/4 teaspoon of Ethyl Maltol crystals in 10ml of PGA (Pure Grain Alcohol). an alternative to PGA is PG.

Diluted mixture can then be added to your liquid. Start with one or two drops per 6ml of liquid. Add more to soften or sweeten liquid to your taste.

Some customers like to add it directly to their mix, we suggest 1 scoop per 30ml, it will generally disolve into your juice over night.

Your Head?

My Head is Going to Explode and I'm not even Doing the Mixing. LOL

1/4 Teaspoon to 10ml of PGA sounds about right. And it jives with the Math I did which came up with Six 1/32.

Thanks I really appreciate help. I probably have 1/2 dozen 1/4 spoons some where. Wife is picking me one up now just for my ecig lab, lol. Thanks again ;)

Like I/Others said. Eight 1/32 Teaspoons is a 1/4 Teaspoon.

My Advice is to make about 120ml of the EM/PGA Mix. That way you won't have to think about it for Awhile.

:)
