Please help me with exact ratios to a fully saturated menthol crystal solution.

Hello everyone. I am at wits end here. After reading all the posts people are saying half a teaspoon menthol, etc. Since my menthol is in crystal form, I would like a mass measurement in tenths of a gram. A few weeks back I read an old post here from a chemist. Did I bookmark it? NO! Silly me! Can I find it again? NO!

I am trying to make a strong menthol solution to add to my DIY. Fully saturated and dissolved with menthol crystals you can say. I have an accurate scaled calibrated to within one tenths of a gram, and a measuring flask that measures to one tenth of a milliliter. Consistency is important to me, as I would like to replicate it all the time. Teaspoons mean nothing to me, as I believe that is imprecise when measuring weight. Neither do posts where people say "Just put as much menthol in until it doesn't dissolve anymore." I believe this to be inconsistent to replicate the same results.
If I dilute 1 gram of menthol crystals to 10 ml PG OR 10 ml diluted water....Is that ok? Would that be weak or strong?

When people say add 5 drops of a strong menthol solution to your recipe....what do they mean by STRONG menthol solution?

Any help would be appreciated.

Don't know. I don't use PG, DW, nor VG. I just use PGA. (We can buy Everclear at the highest proof here in Indiana so getting PGA is pretty easy.)

I crush up the crystals. Dump those into a bottle to about 2/3 to 3/4 of the bottle's volume. (Doesn't really matter) Slowly add PGA and shake. When the crystals just barely fully dissolve, I stop adding PGA and shaking. Without measuring or anything complicated, it's very repeatable and very strong. Takes much less PGA than you might think before you do it, so it's really a few drops at a time in the beginning and a drop at a time as the crystals start dissolving.

Someone that does it in PG would have to chime in on that. I've never heard of it being done with DW, but anything is possible.

Thanks. I already read that post, but thanks anyhow. I don't even know what PGA is besides something Tiger Woods plays in. ....Oh..pure grain alcohol, lol.

I tried it with vodka before. Was strong but it really thinned down my e liquid.

I used 2.5 grams crystals to 10 ml PG. Added it to my DIY for 5%. Seems very weak to me. Some said use 1 gram to 10 ml. So I upped the menthol by 150%. I must be a menthol addict.
Next time I add 5 grams to 10ml PG.
