Agreed with all the others. Just use your VW/TC mod with that coil setup (if it'll even run it). 0.15Ω is pushing seriously dangerous territory on a mechanical mod. You're not gonna get ANY benefit from using a mechanical mod vs a VW mod where you can just set and forget.

If you do ANYTHING else, please read this post. You will understand why it's such a huge deal. Nobody wants you to lose a finger or worse!

Thanks I'm looking for advice on my mech mod. It's a drug deck with a .25 kenthal Clapton wrap and it's not getting very hot. My batterie is full charg. Am I doing something wrong
Yes, you are. You'll find the wire mass you're using is too great. Cut back to a slick wire coil and it should improve. Also, on a one-battery tube, raise the ohms a bit, like to .4 or .5; you'll see some better results.

Yah I am done with the cigs I like to vape I was just f******around. If you read my posts b4u commented u would have understood better
It's ok to fiddle fart around, as long as you know what you're doing. Since you've been rolling your own coils for 1-1/2 years, you probably do.

Mechs are totally different animals. They're like firing with live ammunition. They only safety feature is both the knowledge of Ohm's Law and a high degree of confidence in your batteries. If you just gotta try a sub-Ohm build with your mech, it's always a good idea to start out shooting for a total build resistance of 0.50 Ohms. It's an even better idea to start that project using just one coil.

Ever used Steam Engine? It's a great resource that will let you engineer a safely working build and play with different materials and coil properties before you twist the first wire.

I've learned a lot from that site and I'm borderline unteachable.

Thanks what size should the core and outter b.?
I suggest a simple, round wire coil set. I usually coil duals, and a 10/9 wrap on 3mm in 316SS, or something around there, is usually the way I go. For a single coil I usually do an 8/7 on the same mandrel, but 26ga SS316.

I have a box mod limited to 80w and trole rda. Clopton coil at .2ohms and it's got good flav and cloud. I just got a mech mod with the hope I would achieve a bigger experience all around. I put my rda on and kept same build and it was not what I was hoping at all. Could it b my battery, deck, build or is all mech kids can do?
Welcome and glad you joined.
