No worries. We all have to learn somewhere.

So what you have looks like a 4nine, which is a hybrid-style mechanical mod. I hate to tell you this but the 4nine is known as one of the more dangerous mechanicals that you can buy. This is due to it being a hybrid-style device, meaning that the battery makes a direct connection to the atomizer's positive pin. The other problem with this mod is that its prone to shorting at the switch. This is due to the delrin battery adjustment becoming worn down and not threading correctly.

A simple fix would be to get a regulated mod, meaning something with adjustable wattage/voltage and safety features.
