Hey guys, long time lurker but finally posting because I can't seem to find any suggestions for this. I just got a new battery (mxjo) for my stingray clone, which has a non-adjustable 510 connection. I was previously using a vamped that would usually fire but sometimes took a couple presses. The mxjo won't fire at all. A guy at my local vape shop said the flat-top batteries arent connecting with the 510, is there any way to fix this without buying a whole new tube? BTW, I washed the tube recently, but I didn't think water would hurt it since it's all a bunch of metal? Maybe I'm wrong.

as long as you dried it thoroughly it is fine. as far as your 510 not being adjustable that should have nothing to do with connecting to the battery. I am sure the stingray has some adjustment for battery rattle. that should make the contact between 510 and batt.

Your problem is probably contact between the 510 and your atty. if your atty does not have an adjustable 510 the there is not alot you can do besides a spacer that is made for circut boards. Hopefully sombody else has details.
