I agree with others. Is this your first mechanical mod? If so, I have a few safety related questions for you.

1. Do you have an ohm reader or a DMM?
2. What battery do you have (or will be purchasing) for use in your mod (brand/mAh/amp rating)?
3. Have you read up on battery safety, ohms law, amp draw?

Thanks for the replies...

Most of them are clones...Can't afford authentic, except for the Magneto.

To answer the questions above, I do have an ohm reader, a good battery (IMR 18650 NP, 2100mAh, 60A), and I've done a lot of reading...still learning though.

I've already got one mech...the Copper Pegasus... I really like it and looking into getting more mechs...

The whole vaping thing quickly turned into a hobby for me.

Thanks again! :)

Hmm, 60 amp imr??? that must be the pulse rating, what's the continuous??? Brand?? not that I doubt you, but want to check them out. Only batt I know of the has a 60 amp pulse ratting is an 26650 batt. just saying.

Magneto is nice, was on the list when was mech shopping. My fave mech, currently, is the El Sigilo Torched Dragon, by Wu Tang house of mods. Love the no 510 pin connection, making every rba hybrid. Really like the center push switch, also.

The Stingray x has copied their 510 connection, and the clone looks decent.

Mechs by far, outnumber my regulateds in the collection. And seem to be my preferred apv's, admittedly, am waiting on some regulated upgrades and shipping notifications, soo this could change. not., vape is progressive after all:D

Vape long and Prosper.

Trying to decide between these mechanical mods...

1. Copper Vanilla with Magnetic Switch
2. Copper Penny with Magnetic Switch
3. Copper Panzer with Magnetic Switch
4. Private V2
5. Brass M16
6. Brass Smoktech Magneto 2

Any opinions?

I would go with the Copper Penny with Magnetic Switch. I myself been wanting to buy one of them because I been hearing good things about them.
But I would say go with what tickles your fancy.

Those are all cool mechs and if I'm not mistaken, lots of the available clones are so close to the authentics that it's hard to tell the difference.
You could order one sight-unseen from FT and get something amazing or awful. If you can find one in a brick-and-mortar, you'll be paying marginally more but you'll be able to inspect, hold, and probably try out the mech you end up buying. That's what I did with my nemi clone, and I freaking love it. Even without the magnetic switch (although that may change tomorrow).

I have a 4nine also...just got it in the mail yesterday. I really like the simplicity of it as well. The only problem I'm having with it is that the magnets are damaged which I think weakened the throw of the switch so the switch feels kind of lose. Will damaged magnets weaken the switch?

BTW...I ended up getting the Private V2 clone...looking forward to it :)
