I'm in the market for a new mechanical mod and rda. My price range is between 150-200$ Could you guys recommend some rda/MechMod combos that have worked well for you? I want something that has some flare to it and looks great and works well. NO CLONES.

Right now I'm running a ciggreen Hades clone with a Authentic Mutation v2 and I love the mutation just not much of a fun of the Hades. The button is just a pain to push. Let the advice flow my fellow vapers!

XXIX from Bay City Vapor, $180. Absolutely fantastic mod with ultra low voltage drop, a superb switch, and a hybrid adapter. I own 60+ mechs, and it's the best I've ever used.

The Mutation X v2 is a fantastic all-around RDA, I'd stick with that for now until you find you've outgrown it. I have a Plume Veil clone in polished copper, and it looks fantastic on the XXIX with the hybrid.

If you like the Mutation X V2, I'd recommend checking out the Infinite CLT V2 Plus. It is another cloud chasing atty with a few nice features that make it better than the MX2, imo. The CLTV2+ has heat sinks at the top and the bottom so it manages high wattage builds better, and it has standard phillips screws in the build deck which work better than the crappy allen key that comes with the Mutation X2. Also, the drip tip has an even wider bore. The CLT2+ is the best cloud chasing atty on the market right now, IMO. The only downside is that it's no bueno at anything under 50W. It does one thing, but it does it very very well.

Appreciate the feed back guys. Although a lot of what you're saying to me seems like japanese. I know a bit about the super popular mods but I still have alot to learn.

Hopefully you guys could give me some good schooling. Send some links of the mods that you're talking about maybe give me some reasons as to why I should choose them!

The 26650
Simplistic design magnetic or spring loaded button thats built into the mod.
top cap comes off and you put your battery in, spacers seperate the battery from metal just like delrin does in most mods.
I've had my scottua clone for a few months and I've never had to take the button apart, a friend has an authentic #34 and he's had it for a very, very long time and has never had to take the button apart (I don't want to know what it looks like in that thing).

Its machined out of a copper bar and it hits hard.

Mutation XL is basically a 26650 version of Mutation X, deep juice well huge airflow and extremely easy to build on.

Scottua 26650 with a Mutation XL

+1 for a Scottua. I have an 18650 The Copper and its awesome, hits harder that my copper King Kong and I love that it has no locking band. What really sold me on it was when I found out you can order them direct from scottua.com at a nicely reduced price than you can find it from other online vendors.

If you were curious this is everything inside of your button. x1 fiber spacer insulator, x2 n55 neodymium magnets, x1 copper switch, x1 steel c-clip. I take mine apart all the time to polish the contact. Just remember the space goes in before the magnets otherwise your battery is unable to vent properly.

EDIT: Scottua has a nice how-to video posted on his Facebook page about maintaining your The Copper including detailed instructions on how to disassemble the switch, which is very easy and only requires a sharp pair of tweezers.

I have the Panzer, Praxis, & The SMPL Mod. The Panzer is well crafted and gives you the flexibility of tube section changes to fit different batteries. The pin adjustment is annoying and you can't really get your atty to mount flush without fear of the pin being slid down too far. Button needs constant re tightening . The Praxis is more trouble free but the button takes getting used to. Ever since getting the SMPL Mod, I can't imagine using anything else; there is no pin to mess around with; there's no top cap! Just a straight connection from atty to battery. All my RDAs mount flush with no effort; the button is trouble free and perfect. Best of all, it's the smallest profile mech mod and therefore real pocket friendly. Hits really hard. The clone ($27 on eBay) is the same as the original. Looks great with my Vertex v2 which my best RDA for flavor as well as vapor. The Little Boy is a close second.

My SXK Stingray is awesome. Some of the adjustment screws are a little loose however set them and tighten to the battery and there's no issues at all. My Nemesis is a Tobeco clone and I'm not sure if I got really lucky or not but this thing is pretty good - I'm just waiting on my magnets that fix the stupid spring loaded fire button; then it'll probably be used as much if not more than my stingray.

Nemesis is kind of the standard mech that everyone starts with I feel (I started there too). Then moved on to the stingray x (amazing! 0.5 volt drop with a 0.2 ohm coil) and my newest and favorite addition is the smpl. Mine are all clones but all work amazingly well. Well the neme did until I dropped it on the button getting out of the work Truck. Stingray has been relegated to backup duty and occasional side piece as I love my smpl. Super clean, easy assembly, no muss, no fuss. It really depends on what you are looking for though.

Wait a second, the fiber spacer goes into the button? Maybe its different in the clone but I put it in the battery tube, I tried to find out where to actually put the damn thing on the net and I couldn't figure it out, even the website doesn't say anything but its a spacer between the battery and the contact. Can you link the video about wehre the fiber spacer goes? I can't find it anywhere.

Another vote for SMPL. All my other mech mods just sit there... unused and collecting tarnish. :)
The SMPL is one of the few mods that doesn't try to over-complicate things with all these adjustable rings, adapters, removable tubes, extendable/retractable pins, etc. For some people (maybe most people), all that adjustability speaks to its design superiority, when in fact, they're all just voltage droppers! Why do you need adjustability? An 18650 is 65mm long. Design around that, and stop trying to justify the price tag of your mod by the amount of its over-engineering. If mech mods are for purists, the SMPL is for the ultra-purist. Nothing hits harder because Ohm's Law says so.

Wanted to add another SMPL Mod buy point. Some people give it a thumbs down because there is no locking feature. Actually, there is. First, the button is slightly recessed in the tube such that it cannot be fired if pressed down on a flat surface. Second, the spring is stiff enough to prevent accidental firing. This comes in handy if you use a button top 18650 which leaves the button slightly extended outside the tube. Third, there is no need for magnet spring converting because the button design does not over compress the spring or use the spring for conductivity. You will have no regrets picking this up.

Very recently received a MMV Nanos that I absolutely love and should fall in to the lower end of your price range. Same guy that makes the Poldiac mentioned earlier (they're having a big sale on Poldiacs right now it looks like).

Super tiny, hits harder than my copper neme clone, and has the best switch I've ever tried.

Plus you can order direct from the manufacturer in Greece, and they always seem to be in stock so no hunting or waiting lists. Spare parts available, etc.
