Definitely can't go wrong with a nemesis clone. I would grab a set of copper contacts as well for it. Pretty sure the ehpro copper nemesis comes with copper contacts out of the box, but you can always get your own if you prefer the non copper version.

If you are willing to spend a bit of money, and can find one, the 4nine mod is great. Only 3 inches long in 18650 mode and uses a hybrid setup meaning your atomizer touches the battery directly. Very hard hitting. Unfortunately it isn't compatible with all rba / rda. It is dependent on the length of the 510 connector.

I still vote nemesis for price, looks, and function. And with copper contacts the voltage drop is up there with the best.

Nemesis is a good choice. My Nemmy and Kraken are from FastTech and I've been happy with them. Since you are on a budget, the magnets are not a "have to" at this point. There is a nice video on Youtube on how to give life back to your Nemesis springs when they wear down. I love the Kraken for flavor. Playing with different builds for it at this time.

A couple of tips. When you place your order with FastTech, choose the epacket option in shipping. Also, pay attention when all the items you are ordering will be available. If your Nemesis and Kracken can ship the next day but that drip tip you like won't be available for 7 days, it will hold up the shipment.

I would suggest you get a IGO-W or L also. You can get an authentic one from 101vape for under $15 or less. They are good to use to learn building coils.

This is what I was using today at work. Photo191.jpg

I love my copper nemmy and my brass stingray... But my go to all day carry around work with mod is the FT Panzer w/Patriot clone. Sturdy, reliable and I don't care if I drop the thing or bang it on something.

I agree with the nemmy and brass stingray. I have a SS nemmy that works pretty good and looking to upgrade to either the copper nemmy, or brass stingray or black copper stingray in the next few days, leaning more towards a stingray for the floating pin and magnet switch.

Idk what it is about the panzer. It's still what i go back to in my mind as to what I want. Lol and idk why but the stingray doesn't excite me. And I have a question about protected batteries. Since protected batteries have a little circuit in em wouldn't that prevent over discharge?

If the stingray doesn't excite you, have you seen the black copper version? Looks a lot better, just don't know how long the black will hold up to heat.

Hcigar's nemesis clone has silver plated copper pins.

The igo w5 is more expensive, than the igo w but has a 22 mm cap instead of 20 if you want a flush look, plus it has a bigger platform to work with with larger post holes, that makes threading thicker wire easier and doing tripple or quad coils.

Sorry I've been away from my thread for a while. But i have an update. I ended up getting a kfl a kraken and a copper nemmy. I'm on the fence about doing a forced patina on it lol. I'm still deciding on a dripper tho. The copper quasar oor a stillare. I will have to decide soon seeing as soon as my fiancée sees how much I spent again she will be cutting me off lol (at almost 80$ again but I got 10 bottles of e liquid too)
