Mech MOD with battery meter?

Hopefully the title says it all.

Looking/reading/pondering/dreaming etc., about different mechanical mods and their different styles, shapes along with RDAs and such.

For some odd reason the weirdest question popped into my head.

Do any non - VV/VW mods come with a battery meter? I have been reading and reading that it is "end-of-the-world" horrible to discharge an unprotected safe chem battery below 2.5v

Sooooooooo.....How do you know how low you have gone with your battery while out and about vaping? I don't imagine most of you MECH heads out there carry your DMMs with you, do you?

I'm sure that it is obvious when the battery is getting weak after you have used one for a while, I haven't got a mech yet, but from what I understand you need to keep a fresh battery with you if you are using a mech.

But most people say that they can tell its time to change their battery when the vapor just isn't the same, but I guess the takes time to learn when.

You can also purchase a tankometer. Basically you unscrew your atomizer. Screw the tankometer in to your mech. Push the button and it will show the voltage of the battery. You can also find ones that will have a connector on the top of it for your atomizer. Then you can measure the voltage drop while under load from the atomizer. Not sure if you are into modding. But if you are you can make them cheap. I actually just wondered today. Did some research and will build myself one soon.

its almost impossible to vape a battery down to the 2.5v range, you physically can but at that point they barely put out any vapor at all. after using one a few times you kind of know how long a charge will last, what to look out for and when to change the battery etc.

I run my attys at .8 ohms and right at that moment I go hmm whats going on? i take the battery out and its almost always at 3.5v

yea ya just keep a couple batteries with ya and your good to go. I know with the 3400mah batteries i get a good two days.

I will be checking everything religiously all day anyway. I do a lot of testing at work. So I will always have something to read voltage and ohms at work. I just think the tankometer looks awesome. Well the ones I have seenade from a cartotank.
