VA Spade mech, SQ 217, SQ Topside, Purge ultem squonk mod, Reactor (clone) and Armageddon V2. The SQ 217 and the SQ Topside hit the hardest. The squonk bottle on the Topside Is annoying. The Spade hits hard and is beautiful. It has a proprietary bottle but it works flawlessly. The Purge is nice and is affordable around $90 or less. The Reactor is an 18650 mod that is billet aluminium. With a 20S battery it hits like a hammer and uses standard squonk bottles. Good luck finding a Reactor. I got mine from 2fdeal. The Armageddon V2 is a great little lightweight mod that with a 20S battery also hits hard. It also uses standard squonk bottles but can be a PITA if you have to adjust the 510. If anyone can still get a V2 for $20 grab 1 or 2. All of the above are true mech mods and everything said above is just my opinion.
I have some no longer available favorites (if you find any in the classifieds I highly recommend picking up a Lil’ Pinch or a Custom Classic mod) but for readily available...

Very nice. The only thing I don't like about my SQ 217 is that I waited so long to get it.

Signature SQ 24, Signature SQ217 Evil Edition, Krönig Box 18650, Vicious Ant Spade 21700, Vicious Ant Spade 18650 Stabwood, Armageddon, Purge Ultem, Defiant Designs DS, Moddog Pulsar, PZLD Star Wars Edition, and Anchor Nano.
Those are the ones I use, but most of them only occasionally. I still have others that just collect dust for now. I mostly only use the SQ217, Krönig, VA 21700, and Armageddon on a regular basis. The SQ and Krönig hit the hardest out of all my mods. The Armageddon and Spade hit slightly less hard, but not bad at all. The rest of my mods get rotated through to keep things interesting, or when I'm going to be working on something and just want a mod that I don't care to ding up or get dirty.

Those always grab my attention when I see them. At the time you could find them easily, I was very sceptical about clone mech squonks (got a couple bad ones in a row) so I never pulled the trigger. Kinda regret that now.

I'm currently using the Armageddon v2 mod and the dotSquonk
im using mostly semi regulated squonks at this point like the Asmodus Pumper18s and Luna, an Aspire Feedlink Revvo, and a Sigelei Kaos and Fuschai.
I’m feel much more comfortable knowing that I have at least some back up protection. I had a brain “injury” that has left me oftentimes a wee bit confused (who me?) even after triple checking all my numbers and gear set up.
So even though a mosfet isn’t a regulated mod it does offer some protection of the dumber mistakes I could easily make.
And tbh, I done use this often but keep them in my stash. I use mostly my regulated squonkers on a day to day basis like the Topsides, Revenants and a couple of old Pico Squeezes v1.0.
Besides “safety” I never could quite understand why I’d want to use a mod/battery combo that gets weakened hits the more it’s used. The regulated mods/batteries seem to keep the hits more consistent which is probably more important to me as a vaper who enjoys a decent TC or Replay chip so most hits are all pretty much the same.

I'm wary about clone mechs too. But @Don29palms 's experience of the Reactor clone, and the stunning Armor Mech v2 clone coming out may change my mind.

I would say if you can get a Reactor and you like it grab one. I really like mine. I don't have a Squeezer but you can't go wrong with that one. The only thing that would bother me about the Armor is the proprietary bottle and the price. If you can get a couple extra bottles and you like the mod the price is up to you.Always

Yep, the price is huge on the Armor, especially for a clone. I'm going to wait for reviews on it first, as there are plenty of other mechs I can get for $55

Kinda big for 18650 only, but that thing doesn't look half bad.
Yeah it is kinda big for a single 18650. It's the same size as my SQ Topside. The Reactor is not for pocket carry but it works really well. It's solid aluminum. I also like that you can use just about any squonk bottle in it. At $42 it on the spendy side for a clone but it is a well made clone. Kindbright makes pretty good stuff.
You're not alone. The shiny thingy hit me lately too
Not that I need another mod, but I just pulled the trigger on a red Squeezer at FT plus a SXK FLVR Styled RDA. The price for the Squeezer is $24.31 USD and shipping to Canada is about about a buck. The Squeezer seemed to be the best bang for my buck in what I was looking for right now.
Hopefully I get it this year
