I have a sigelei mod #8, the carto randomly stopped working, im doing nothing different with the mod, i put three different charged batteries. My IClear30 works for it, but its a high ohm so not very well, but i was only using carto's all day today yet it randomly stopped working. I know it still works cuz i iclear fires in it. Everything is still connected an not loose, im confused and frustrated :l

They aren't dual coil. They are single coil LR Boge cartomizers, and the cartomizers worked completely fine for an entire day, but then it just totally stopped. I tried the same carto's that are fresh and still nothing, although what i was originally using was only a day old. Frustrated because i hate it when im left without a vape cuz i shoot right back to analogs and im currently waiting for my other vv/vw device to come back because it had a manufacturing flaw.

p.s. everything with the mod is still attached as it should be, and i know it works because the iclear30 i put on it works(not very well because of the higher'ish ohm's on it)

and sorry i should have been more specific, when i said "the carto randomly stopped working" i meant it worked completely fine and satisfyingly and then it just stopped working entirely, i put it on my friends battery thats at 3.7 and worked totally fine, just not on the mech mod.

What is the ohms of the lr carto and what type of batteries are they? If they are protected batts with low ohms then the amp draw is probably too high and it's tripping the protection circuit of the battery. I use ONLY high drain IMR or hybrid chemistry batts that are made to handle much higher amp drains in ALL my mods, mech or regulated. It's probably that OR an issue with the center pins of the mod and the carto's not making contact. If the pin isn't adjustable on the #8 you can try to pull it up a hair with a mini screw driver. That's all I got.

They are imr efest batteries, and I figured it out finally, the post touching the positive end of the battery was slightly unscrewed which made the shorter carto connections not touch while the iclears being longer was still able to touch, thanks for the help guys

 Soon as I read your post I knew it had to be one of two things. Post contact or coils popped. Post contact is the biggest trip up I've seen for people.
