I love my SMPL i use it all the time. I use my Eleaf 50w with a clone RTA while driving, like it too.

I'm thinking about buying a parallel box mod to run .08 ohm coil RDA.
I would seriously suggest making sure you get a high quality mod for that. Like a vapor flask. (That might be series, don't know) my point is you have to make sure that your mod can handle a 60 amp draw. Some can't.

Having just got my box mod last week I feel torn, the tubes please me and I enjoy building and dripping, but I'm absolutely enthralled with my little box mod, I really enjoy having the ability to adjust the wattage and being able to vape while charging is a plus as well.
However I tend to keep my tanks on the box and still drip with a tube. I guess it's situational, tube at home box on the go for my personal style of things.

I'm looking at BC box mods, custom built by order. Parallel, not series. I don't need higher voltage, I need higher amp draw. They lifetime guarantee everything down to .08 Ohm. Tell me what you think of it?

I just recently got my first Mech Mod (Smok Galileo - tube), and I run it with a kick. I prefer the "safety" of regulated mods. I want something to tell me the battery needs me to charge it. I miss not checking my coil resistance when I fire my mech, but I've really only gotten the mech as part of my "vapocalypse" stash.

With mechanical box mods, batteries are usually in parallel.
With regulated mods, batteries are usually in series.

People could use series mechanical mods if they want to but they then have to build a coil to match

It seems good to go. 14 gauge should be more than enough for the 54 amp (roughly) draw you'll be putting on it. Just make sure you use really good batteries, don't skimp out. Have fun, and be safe!!!

P.S.
If you do run into any problems, warranty that thing and don't take your chances.

I perfer to use my smy 260 because of the battery life i can vape high wattage all day switching from 80 watts on my lemo 2 with a .5 ohm build and 150+ on my rdas. But that box just burnt up on me and while I'm waiting on it to be repaired I'm being reminded why i bought my FUhattan mod. The simplicity, no my batteries don't last near as long, but its simple you really cant mess it up. With that being said, as soon as my smy is repaired I will be back to mainly using it so I don't have to carry spare batteries with me.
