I get it. I've been using REO's for 4 years now. I've had 6 of them and I know and have experienced first hand how great Rob is. I was just wondering what the price would be. I'm hoping he's not going to charge big money for them is all. I appreciate your enthusiasm it's why Reovil is such a good place to be.

i'd expect around the same as aluminium given the process from what i understand it

I would rather have a few nice things than a truckload of junk.

True, but I have both, so I appreciate the good stuff even more! Well not a truckload, a bit less than that. Still, I feel lizardnipples' question was legit and I too would like to know a projected possible round-a-bout price for the resin mods if they make it past the testing stage. That pic Rob posted is absolutely gorgeous. I know its not wood, but if it feels like cocobolo and looks like ebony, doesn't change its size according to ambient weather conditions, can't split or crack from a heavy fall, well, I'm intrigued because it looks so nice and desirable :)

i'm thinking i might forego the WV rush and go for the feel, look, but sturdier

i'm a chronic juice spiller and shouldn't be allowed to own precious things like woodvilles

Agree it will be interesting to see. Things come out funny on the internet in threads sometimes with being playful and suddenly things can be taken multiple ways. I am sure lots of people are chomping at the bit for prices and availability. Definitely looking forward to these.:)

The resin mods take every bit as much work as a woodvil to build the price will be about the same . Of course this may change I am working on making molds for these . Its all experimental at this point . What ever I do it will be fair . I have always priced my products fairly I no I could charge more but I dont . One of you asked about olive drab I was already thinking about that color the black and olive would be awesome .

I just got a bunch of supplies for testing I will keep you all in the loop . We will make test samples of some of the colors we come up with I will post them here on the forum in a separate thread

Even a clear resin with embedded things inside, possibilities are endless. Imagine a clear with embedded old cigarette butts or leaves, or small sea shells. Heck Rob could embed even porcupine quills in a clear resin.:D
Yeah we have given all these things some thought the possibilities are endless . We poured out first mold this morning should be interesting
