I want to get a mech, but I'm totally overwhelmed by all the choices. I'm pretty sure I want a clone in the $50-$60 range. I want decent quality, not flimsy, but not wanting to pay $200-$300 at this time.

I want it to be able to take 18350 or 18650, but I don't like the looks of the telescoping mechs, so I'm guessing I'll have to go with something that has removable sections. I want to be able to set it down on a table without it pressing the firing button. Locking mechanism would be preferred. I'm not looking to go too low in resistance, but a little lower than a provari would let me go.

I like the look of the caravella clones, but it don't want an engraving of a ship. Not sure why, it just doesn't do it for me. I'm sort of looking at the turtleship clones, but far from decided. I'm not opposed to getting from fasttech, but it's hard to tell what's decent on there, and what's shoddy.

Any suggestions? Give me some stuff to look at. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Okay, looks like nemesis is a winner. The price is cheap enough that if I decide to get something else later, I won't have overspent on this one. I really like the one that is mixed colored (called mixed edition on fasttech) but I can't seem to find it anywhere in the us. I haven't really searched hard, but if anyone knows where to find this in stock in the us at a decent price, please feel free to let me know.

If you can wait for 101vape to restock they usually have hcigar nemmys for $29.99 in stainless and two tone, and the $50 copper ones that just seem to have come around. They ship for $1.99 and usually get it to ya quick.

Best bet is to sign up for the notifications for whichever one you're looking at, then grab it when it comes in, 101vape is pretty popular lately and sells thru stuff pretty quick when they get batches.

Might as well finish off your budget and throw in a kayfun clone to finish off the package eh? :vapor:

(although it may really push back your shipdate)

I've already got a couple of those, lol!

How often does 101Vapes usually get new stock in? I was wondering if it would be faster to order from fasttech, and wait for shipping, or faster to wait for other vendors to get their Chinese shipments in. ;)

Normally they're pretty good about it, every other week or so it seems like depending on what it was (ie new batches of nemmy's seemed to come every other weekish), im pretty sure everybody is pushed way back due to the Chinese New Year biz, but i know they're probably trying to get stuff in as fast as possible because they are literally sold out of nearly EVERYTHING on their site...

Yeah, I'm not sure about that, although it had good reviews. I was going to think about it more before ordering.

The kick from FT is fine and well worth the $9, mine works great.

Only issue is the voltage cutoff is too low and if youre not careful you can excessively drain your batteries, which will likely reduce their longevity.

*EDIT* One pro of the kick 2 is that is will do sub-ohm (supposedly) while the FT kicks cutoff is around 1.5 ohms i believe.

The Fasttech Kicks are great I have 5 and all work perfectly(Much better than Sigelei version). I have another 3 on the way.

By the way Spazmelda your FT car looks pretty sensible compared to what mine looks like usually.

LOL, well... I am not done yet. I did just buy another provari and two Kayfun clones, so it's not like I'm all that sensible. ;)

One thing I just noticed is that the fasttech kick description says it's only good down to 1.5 ohms, while the evolv kick 2 is good down to 0.5. I don't want to go down to 0.5, but the fasttech one wouldn't really allow me to go any lower than I do with my provari, which is the whole point of getting a mech. I think that's why I want a mech, lol. That's the story I'm going with anyway.
