Hi all. I'm still a n00b here, but I've got a question...
First, though, I should preface this by saying that my wife is a cardiologist. That is, she spends her day working to keep smokers alive. And telling them to quit.
That being said, have there been any trials on the effectiveness of e-cigs as a smoking cessation device, that you're aware of?
I ask this, because as I am now one week clear of analogs, she's impressed with the effect it's had on me. I still "smoke", but it's obviously better for me. And I'm not a monster to be around. If it can help an old smoker like me, I imagine it could help her patients... and in her position, she can get them on e-cigs as a "medical trial" and publish the results... i.e. be good (hopefully) for the community.
