I added my two cents (and my comment is awaiting moderation):
I dont think Ive ever been quite so disappointed in a governmental agency. The FDA has announced its news in an alarmist and biased fashion in a deliberate attempt to scare the public and to try to justify its war on e-cigarettes.
I am not a conspiracy buff. Im one of those folks who believes that while at times my government might be misguided, it generally has the best interests of its citizens in mind. Now, Im not so sure. I literally cannot think of a single valid reason why the FDA would approach e-cigarettes in this fashion.
I expected cautious optimism and calls for further studies. I did not expect a biased, alarmist announcement designed to shut down one of the most promising developments in the battle against smoking.
I really did expect better from my government.
Thank you for continuing to be the voice of reason, Dr. Siegel.
